| Check Out This ‘Star Wars’ Death Star Fire Pit (Images)
Redditor Bandia5309’s 84-year-old grandfather created a Death Star II fire pit over the Christmas holiday and it’s amazing! The fire pit was based on the incomplete – yet fully armed and operational – second Death Star seen in 1983’s Return Of The Jedi, the final Star Wars film of the original trilogy. Check out the photos of the fire pit here below.

As a child, I played with my share of Play-Doh, the wildly popular, colorful modeling clay used for both fun and education. As an adult, I’ve gifted a ton of the stuff to my hordes of godchildren, nieces, and nephews. These days, there’s all kinds of variations of the modeling compound with many accessories, playsets, and other tools to accompany it. But, let’s talk about one of those tools – one that appeared to be more dildo than Play-Doh. Yes, that’s right, I said dildo, as an “extruder tool” that comes with the Play-Doh Sweet Shoppe Cake Mountain Playset is, in fact, shaped like a penis. And when you squeeze the Play-Doh out of it to make the “icing,” well, you can imagine what that looks like, right?

With the debut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens still far, far away (December 18, 2015), there are a few ways to get your Star Wars fix; however, this little holiday item may just shine the brightest of all. This 12-inch Star Wars Yoda with LED Lightsaber Tree Topper by Kurt Adler has been tested and approved. It all started with a Geeks of Doom Holiday Gift Guide. These are not just for our readers, folks. My interest was immediately piqued when I stumbled upon this Christmas Tree Topper on Amazon. And when I added it on a whim to my Amazon wishlist, I had no idea that this little piece of Christmas magic would change my life. I was lucky enough to receive this topper in the mail as a Christmas gift, and when I opened the box, I was stunned. There is no other way to put it (okay, I have a few more ways). This is Yoda as you have never seen him before. His beautiful, handpainted face is almost as impressive as his bright green, shining lightsaber. My living room has changed from a cute decorated room to a magical land of wonder and amusement where the Force is extremely strong (I may be exaggerating a little bit). But really, when I beheld this Yoda at the top of my Christmas tree, my jaw dropped.

You better not shout, you better not cry, you better not pout, I’m telling you why, Batman is going to scream at you, tie you up, and leave you for the GCPD to find you. The good news, though, is that unless you’re Rudolph the Red-Nosed Hitman or some other nefarious being, you’re probably good on the tying up by Batman front. But it is the holidays, and even Batman likes to receive and give gifts on occasion, so in honor of Batty Claus, I’ve curated this fine list of fine gifts for Batman lovers on your holiday list. Enjoy, and give! It’s the best part of the season!

Every month I patiently await my happy little Box of Dread from Dread Central. The boxes, which are filled with all sorts of horror regalia, come delivered monthly to your door. In the past few months, I received DVDs, toys, stickers, posters, buttons, etc. Not every box will contain the exact same things (some do), but will have similar themes. This month happens to be October, which for horror fans means Christmas has come early and Halloween is here. It also means to return to television for arguably horror’s most popular show, AMC’s The Walking Dead. Continue reading for more on this month’s Box of Dread, and to see some images and unboxing videos.
