Each and every week, I, “Illegal Bat!” Henchman 21 and “Get over it!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of October 7, 2015. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. Yes! This week marks the start of the first batch of post Secret Wars, All-New All-Different Marvel comics relaunches. Also, Secret Wars #6 is out, meaning the series is two-thirds done”¦ Yeah, this is comics. If you’re not interested in the joy joy feeling that comes with dealing with Marvel’s publication schedule, there are plenty of other great books out there for you. Yes, it’s time for another jam-packed edition of The GoD List!

Fans of IDW Publishing’s Locke & Key have had to suffer through a lot of starts and stops when it comes to adapting the comic series into another medium. There was the ill-fated Fox pilot that was never aired, a movie trilogy that appears to not be happening anymore, and the possibility of another TV show, but so far the only other medium Locke & Key has been translated into has been the card game by Cryptozoic Entertainment. That all changes today, October 5, as Locke & Key has been released as an audiobook, and it’s free for a limited time!

| Marvel and ABC Developing Comedy Series Based On ‘Damage Control’ Comic
ABC and Marvel Studios are developing yet another series based on a classic Marvel property, but it won’t be a action-drama like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or Agent Carter. They’re going in a much different direction for this new show. According to Variety’s Elizabeth Wagmeister, the network has recently purchased a script for a half-hour, single-camera comedy series based on Marvel’s Damage Control comic series. Created by writer Dwayne McDuffie (who pitched the idea to Marvel as “a sitcom within the Marvel Universe”) and artist Ernie Colón, Damage Control first appeared in the pages of 1988’s Marvel Age Annual and the May 1989 issue of Marvel Comics Presents before graduating to a comic title of its very own the same year. It told the story of the construction crew tasked with cleaning up and rebuilding after a major superhuman battle in the Marvel Universe.

| HBO Considering ‘Watchmen’ TV Series From Zack Snyder
It’s being reported that HBO is actually considering a possible new series adaptation of the legendary Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons comic book Watchmen. Many of you will recall the 2009 movie adaptation of the same name, directed by Dawn of the Dead (2004), 300, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder, which was far better than anyone expected the once thought un-filmable adaptation to be. It’s Snyder himself who is currently in talks with HBO about the potential for a series based on the comic.
