When WandaVision was first announced as a show that would appear only on Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service, many wondered when and where the story following Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) would take place. Well, we really can’t expect to get any answers from Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who was at San Diego Comic-Con to talk about the upcoming series. | SDCC 2019: ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Carries Cap’s Legacy On To Disney Plus
Though Marvel’s televised series are said to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they don’t really function as one considering how Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment don’t speak to each other in a way that would make it a cohesive shared universe. However, that will be different for the Marvel TV series over at Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming service. While at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige plus Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan took to the stage to talk about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and mentioned a few surprises that will include the return of some characters from the Russo Brothers’ Captain America films. | SDCC 2019: Disney+’s ‘Loki’ Will Bring Back The God Of Mischief
Everyone’s fan-favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe anti-hero and occasional villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be making a move to the small screen in the upcoming series Loki. It was announced last year that Loki will be appearing in a show coming to Disney+, Disney’s exclusive streaming series. While there has been some wild speculations and unconfirmed rumors on what we could see in the show and how the character will function in it, it seems that Avengers: Endgame laid out all the groundwork for the series. Marvel Studios’ Black Widow may have been in production for only 30 days, but that stop them from showing off some footage to San Diego Comic-Con attendees today. Scarlett Johansson and director Cate Shortland (Berlin Syndrome, Lore) stopped by the Con to tell everyone there how the production was going, and announced that it would be the first new Marvel film of 2020.

Marvel Studios hasn’t had a major appearance at San Diego Comic-Con since 2017, and they made up for their absence in a very big way at SDCC 2019. First they announced the end of “The Infinity Saga,” which is the first 11 years of films since the studio launched way back in 2008. Then Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed a few titles and a few stars that will appear in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of those titles is The Eternals. Directed by Chloe Zhao, the film promises to be one of the most diverse ensemble films that Marvel has ever made. Check out the list below.
