Fans of Greg Berlanti‘s Arrowverse should be especially excited by the news that is coming out of the HBO Max press event. The showrunner who is behind hit CW DC shows like Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Batwoman will now be working on two new DC shows that will be available for streaming exclusively on HBO Max. It’s been announced that Berlanti will be developing Green Lantern and Strange Adventures series, which will be among the many new titles featured on the streaming service. More on the report below.

Disney+ has released the second trailer for the highly anticipated and very ambitious The Mandalorian. Set five years after the events of The Return of the Jedi and twenty-five years before The Force Awakens, the series centers on a nameless gunfighter who is trying to survive in the era of the new republic by heading to the outer rim of space. Pedro Pascal will play the titular character in the new series which was created by Jon Favreau. Check out the trailer below.

Romero’s and Stephen King’s Creepshow has been a monster hit, breaking streaming records for AMC’s genre service since its premiere in late September. Last week’s Creepshow episode was my favorite of the season thus far and this week we get the penultimate episode of the debut season with a “The Night of the Paw” and “Times is Tough in Musky Holler.” Created by Greg Nicotero of The Walking Dead, Creepshow features phenomenal practical effects, an assortment of genre legends sprinkled throughout the cast, and the darkly comedic fable-like storytelling that Creepshow made popular in the original 1982 film.

Netflix has released the newest trailer for director David Michôd‘s The King, an adaptation of William Shakespeare‘s Henry IV and Henry V. The film stars Timothée Chalamet as Henry V, a wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne who has turned his back on royal life to live amongst the people. He assumes the throne when his father dies, and is forced to engage in an inherited war against The Dauphin (Robert Pattinson). Check out the trailer for The King below.
