| ‘Tolkien’: New Trailer For Movie About ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘Lord Of The Rings’ Author J.R.R. Tolkien Released
Last month we saw an “official trailer” for Tolkien, a J.R.R. Tolkien biopic. But that trailer was much more of a teaser at less than a minute long. Now Fox Searchlight has released a proper official trailer, which runs over two minutes long. The movie stars Nicholas Hoult as the The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings author, and he’s joined on the cast by Lily Collins, Colm Meaney, Anthony Boyle, Patrick Gibson, Tom Glynn-Carney, Craig Roberts, Laura Donnelly, Genevieve O’Reilly, Pam Ferris, and Derek Jacobi. | Watch: 6-Minute Trailer For Documentary ‘Pennywise: The Story Of IT’
Dead Mouse Productions recently released an extended six-minute trailer for Pennywise: The Story of IT, a documentary about the 1990 TV movie adaptation of Stephen King‘s IT. The doc features much of the cast and crew talking about the adaptation, many of whom you’ll see in the trailer. This includes Seth Green, who played young Richie Tozier, and even the great Tim Curry, who played Pennywise. | Official Trailer For ‘Warrior’ Based On The Writings Of Bruce Lee Released
Cinemax has released an official trailer for Warrior, an upcoming original series based on the writings of the legendary Bruce Lee which is set in the 19th century. The series is created by Jonathan Tropper, who co-created Banshee for Cinemax. He executive produces through his Tropper Ink Productions, as well. Also executive producing the show is Bruce Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee for Bruce Lee Entertainment, and Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Beyond) and Danielle Woodrow (Scorpion, S.W.A.T.) for Perfect Storm Entertainment. | ‘Brightburn’: New Trailer For Superhero Horror From Producer James Gunn Released
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released a new trailer for Brightburn, a superhero horror flick. The movie comes from producer James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Slither), and offers a twisted take on the superhero tale. It tells a Superman-like story of a young boy with super powers from another planet who ends up on Earth. But as he discovers his special gifts, he passes up the opportunity to do good with them and instead opts for very dark deeds.
