Justice League

Thor: Ragnarok isn’t the only superhero film to open this November. In just a few short weeks, Warner Bros. will be releasing their latest superhero ensemble film, Justice League. Featuring some of DC’s mightiest heroes, the film will bring together Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) to stop a powerful threat that could put an end to all life as we know it.

Though we got a fleeting glimpse of Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds) through the small deleted scene and a few trailers, a handful of new clips gives us not only our best look at the villain, but also just how powerful he is over the five heroes. So where is Superman (Henry Cavill) when you need him. Hopefully, the clips will answer that. Check it out below.

Disney has been acquiring some major properties in the past few years. They’ve purchased the rights to Pixar, which has given them not only a box office smash animation studio but an Academy Award-winning one as well. They’ve also purchased the rights to Marvel, which has led to the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Lucasfilm, their latest major acquisition, has already given way to two successful hits.

But now they are looking to make their biggest acquisition yet. According to a new report, Disney is looking into purchasing 20th Century Fox – which includes their film division and television division. This could be a huge game-changer for the entertainment industry as it shrinks the competition and also makes a studio much bigger. More on the story below.

Release date: October 17, 2017

Much like Watchman, the highly regarded comic book miniseries from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons, Neil Gaiman‘s 2001 fantasy novel American Gods was something fans figured would be too difficult to translate to the big screen. It’s definitely a story better left for television, where it could be told over many episodes and possibly even seasons, and it almost happened in 2011 when HBO snagged the rights. But the cable giant that gave us the masterpiece that is Game Of Thrones, a worthy adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s best-selling fantasy series, just couldn’t get an American Gods series off the ground. A few years later, Fremantle Media bought the rights with Starz jumping on to develop a show with Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) and Michael Green (Logan) as showrunners. Now that sounded promising! Even more promising “” Gaiman himself was on board as an executive producer. What happened next was the creation of one of the best shows on television.
