| ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan’ Returning To Theaters For 35th Anniversary
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the release of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, undoubtedly the best Star Trek movie ever (and one of my favorite movies of all time)! For the occasion, the film will get a limited theatrical release this September, courtesy of Fathom Events and Paramount Pictures. The digitally remastered Director’s Cut of the film will get a two-day-only theatrical run nationwide — Sunday, September 10 and Wednesday, September 13, at 2pm and 7pm local time each day. A new in-depth interview with star William Shatner (who reprised his iconic role as James T. Kirk in the film) will be played before each showing.

For more than 20 years, fright fans have flocked to Universal Studios parks in Hollywood and Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights. The annual Fall event allows park-goers to fully immerse themselves in their favorite horror movies as they get spooked by the infamous characters in live haunted house-style attractions. This year for the first time, Halloween Horror Nights will feature a haunted maze based on Starz’s Ash vs Evil Dead.

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi just a few more months away from release, Disney and Lucasfilm are already looking to get a head start on Star Wars: Episode IX. Though production has yet to start, the film is already seeing a few changes in the writing staff. According to a new report, Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connelly‘s script will be getting a rewrite from Wonder writer Jack Thorne. More on the story below.
