| ‘The BFG’ Teaser Trailer: Steven Spielberg Will Have You Believe Giants Do Exist
Steven Spielberg reunites with his Bridge of Spies star Mark Rylance for an adaptation of Roald Dahl‘s children’s classic, The BFG. Rylance didn’t get as much screen time as his fellow Spies co-star Tom Hanks, but he stole plenty of scenes with his strong performance. And now we will be able to see what he can do when he shares the screen with newcomer Ruby Barnhill for a much bigger role as the titular character. In the film, Barnhill plays a little girl who appears to be the only one in her orphanage who can see and speak to the title monstrous giant, who will take her the mysterious Giant Country. Take a peek at the very first look at Disney’s The BFG below.

Inside Out
Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack
Directors: Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen
Screenwriters: Pete Docter, Meg LeFauve, Josh Cooley
Cast: Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Mindy Kaling, Bill Hader, Lewis Black, Richard Kind
Music: Michael Giacchino
Walt Disney Home Entertainment
Release date: November 3, 2015 The widely successful Inside Out has finally hit DVD/Blu-ray. Recent Pixar fare has not been a true reflection of the poignant emotions you would normally feel while watching films about toys, seniors who go out on one last adventure, clown fish, and tiny robots. So it seems fitting that Pixar’s latest film brings that poignancy home by focusing on the emotions that drive us: Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear. We all have these emotions, which makes the film that much more relatable – there are arguments that there are different numbers of emotions, but for narrative sake, directors Pete Docter and Ronnie Del Carmen focused on these five.

| First Trailer For ‘The Angry Birds Movie’ Is Here
Remember Angry Birds? Me neither! But while the game isn’t talked about as much as it used to be, the animated movie we first heard about back in December of 2012 is still on the way whether you’re ready for it or not. Officially titled The Angry Birds Movie, it features quite the cast including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Bill Hader, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, and others. As an added bonus, the movie doesn’t look as awful as you may have imagined it was going to look. Whether the final product ends up ultimately being a pleasant surprise, however, is a question to be answered on another day. You can read a synopsis and check out the first trailer for The Angry Birds Movie below.

| Movie Review: Trainwreck |

Trainwreck
Director: Judd Apatow
Screenwriter: Amy Schumer
Cast: Amy Schumer, Tilda Swinton, Bill Hader, John Cena, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn, LeBron James, Dave Attell, Vanessa Bayer
Universal Pictures
Rated R | 124 Minutes
Release date: July 17, 2015 Does Judd Apatow get paid by the minute? Is there any other logical reason – aside from wanton smugness – that his films are chronically overlong? After seeing his latest comedic effort, Trainwreck, I had to consult IMDb to see if the 124-minute film did, in fact, employ an editor. Turns out Trainwreck had three editors: William Kerr, Peck Prior, Paul Zucker. I’m not sure what this trio was hired to do, however, as it appears nothing was left on the cutting room floor. Like This is 40 and virtually every other Apatow film, Trainwreck is woefully bloated – even if it is wildly funny. Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer) stars as a magazine writer who has made promiscuity her credo. Ever since her adulterous father (Colin Quinn) drilled into her head that monogamy isn’t realistic, Amy has enjoyed a life free of commitment and inhibitions.
