| ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Plot Synopsis and Cast Revealed
For the past four Pirates of the Caribbean films, Jack Sparrow has searched for immortality so that he could sail the seven seas freely for eternity. But through those four films, he discovered that the accursed coins couldn’t do it, nor could he find a way around being bound to searching for lost souls of sailors for infinite years. Not even finding the Fountain of Youth. Now the drunken swashbuckler looks like he will veer away from that search, and go hunting for some buried treasure. | SDCC 2014: ‘The Giver’ Panel
Anthony Breznican of Entertainment Weekly introduced the panel for The Giver, on Wednesday’s San Diego Comic Con panel in Hall H. The book that the film is based on, Lois Lowry‘s groundbreaking 1993 novel was arguably the prototype for the recent trend of Young Adult dystopian sci-fi that includes book series like The Hunger Games and Divergent. Director Philip Noyce introduced, via a pre-recorded video message, footage from the film which gave a great overview of the false utopia of the world of The Giver and the discovery of its dark history. Breznican then introduced author Lois Lowry, Brenton Thwaites, who plays Jonas, Jeff Bridges, who plays The Giver, Odeya Rush, who plays Fiona, and producer Nikki Silver.

| Trailer For ‘Oculus’ Starring Karen Gillan and Katee Sackhoff Rattles The Nerves
Mirrors have been an effective gateway into nightmares and horror movies for years now – just think Candyman, Mirrors, or Urban Legend: Bloody Mary to name a few – and now the next entry that will keep you scared out of your wits about mirrors is about to be released in theaters. Oculus, is supernatural horror movie with a time-warping sense of dread of disorientation. The film focuses on two young adult siblings, Kaylie and Tim, who are hellbent to prove that the four-century old mirror in their family home is responsible for not only their parents’ death, but over forty others as well.
