| Watch The ‘Gods Of Egypt’ Super Bowl Spot
Lionsgate has released a new trailer for their all-out epic film Gods of Egypt that will serve as their Super Bowl spot for the upcoming movie. Watch Super Bowl spot titled “War” here below. Gods of Egypt has Gerard Butler leading as the god of darkness Set, who’s usurped the Egyptian throne with aspirations to rule the world, although his style of leadership involves much chaos, conflict, and destruction. | Lionsgate Apologizes For Whitewashed ‘Gods Of Egypt’ OversightBy now, in 2015, you’d think that studios would have caught on to the idea that they would want to cast a film like Gods of Egypt with actors who are, I don’t know, Egyptian. Just so that the actors can properly reflect the ethnicity of that time period. But after seeing the first posters and trailer for the film, it’s no surprise that there was an uproar over the idea that headlining star Gerard Butler could even pass as a Egyptian. Let’s not forget that Nikola Coster-Waldau and Brenton Thwaites, who also star in this film, are both white as well. As confusing as this may sound, the film still got made, and with the all the vitriol it’s already been getting with just the first trailer and posters alone because it is so whitewashed, director Alex Proyas and Lionsgate have come out to apologize for it. See what they had to say below.

| ‘Gods Of Egypt’ Trailer: Humans Against CGI Ancient Egypt Backdrop
Aesthetically, the first set of posters for Alex Proyas‘s Gods of Egypt did not look good, and obviously that should not be a representation of the film itself. Often times, it is though. But we should never let the look of posters cloud our judgement, even if this is a pretty white-washed film. But holding out on the hopes that the film may be actually entertaining seems like a futile effort, especially since the look and feel of this new trailer gives off a wretched whiff of horribly bad CGI backdrops, with equally bad CG effects and even worse CG characters. Check out the full trailer for Gods of Egypt below.

Release Date: May 15, 2015 “Oh, what a day! What a lovely day!” Mad Max: Fury Road is nothing short of a goddamn masterpiece. This is an epic of grease, gunpowder, and gasoline – a feminist, post-apocalyptic Western on wheels, all shiny and chrome. This is action cinema in its purest, most exhilarating form. Co-written and directed by George Miller, Fury Road finds The Road Warrior himself, Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), pursued by Warboys, a bloodthirsty clan of marauders under the command of the tyrannical Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). The leather-clad maniacs capture Max and haul him off to the Citadel, a massive stronghold where the warlord rules over the poor, sickly wretches of the wasteland. Within the Citadel, Max becomes a blood bag for Nux (Nicholas Hoult), a wounded Warboy. Max hangs upside down, his blood draining into Nux, who wants nothing more than to die a glorious soldier’s death and be ushered into shiny, chrome-colored Valhalla.

| New Images From ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Released
So far we’ve only seen the one solid image from the long-awaited next installment in director George Miller‘s Mad Max franchise, Mad Max: Fury Road. But that changes now. A collection of new images from the movie have been released, and they certainly looks like a Mad Max sequel…one that’s much closer to the first sequel, 1981’s The Road Warrior, and the trilogy-maker Beyond Thunderdome. The images show stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, as well as co-stars Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, Courtney Eaton, Abbey Lee Kershaw, and some proper post-apocalyptic vehicles.
