Air Date: Monday, May 8th, 2017, 8pm Last week on Gotham, the Court of Owls voted to “cleanse” Gotham. Uncle Frank (James Remar) warned Jim (Ben McKenzie) before killing himself to push Jim forward in the Court’s eyes. He met with them. He also asked Barbara (Erin Richards) for help about the shipment on Dock 9C. A ninja sliced her men to protect it. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) acted like a jerk to Ivy (Maggie Geha), who saved him despite that, when he put his trust in the wrong person. She suggested he form a team of “freaks” like them. The shaman opened Bruce’s (David Mazouz) mind and brought him back to the day his parents were killed. He told him he was important to Gotham. Spoilers below.

| Comics For Free Comic Book Day 2017 |

Well, folks, it is that time again. It’s time for Free Comic Book Day! On May 6, 2017, comic and book shops across the known ‘verse will offer up exclusive comics to patrons for free. But it’s not just about dropping in and grabbing free loot and bailing. No, friends, this is the day you need to get out and show your appreciation for these stores. Because while the comics are free to you, they are not free to the shopkeepers. They buy those for distribution as a way of thanking us for our business. And what better way to pay it forward is there than to drop a few bucks in their businesses? I’ll leave it to you and your conscience, but know that what you do on FCBD will affect what the shops are able to do in the future. My local comic shop closed, certainly you would not want the same fate for yours, would you? Click here to find a participating comic shop near you! But all the peer pressure aside, let us take a look at what the day will bring us in the way of comics. But remember, every shop may not have every title.

Air Date: Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017, 8:00pm Last week on Arrow, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) really came through for Rene (Rick Gonzalez), by arranging a visit with his daughter, and inspiring him to fight for her. Alena (Kacey Rohl) told Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) that A.R.G.U.S. is holding their leader, Cayden James, without due process. He invented a biomarker tracker that they could use to get Chase (Josh Segarra), but wanted Felicity’s help at breaking him out. This put Felicity at odds with the team, and Diggle (David Ramsey) at odds with Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson). Felicity was successful and she tracked Chase to their bunker. Cue explosion. He wanted to get the gang back together, because after Iris (Candice Patton) died, Barry went in a downward spiral. And he never did find out Savitar’s identity. Barry went to return to 2017, but got stuck and helped Cisco reunite everyone. They defeated 2 metas, and Future Barry gave Barry some tech that may help save Iris. Spoilers below.
