E3 2013: Two New ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ Gameplay Demos Released
|
 |

The other big first-person shooter franchise being shown off at E3 2013, Call of Duty, also happens to be the undefeated king of the genre. Battlefield 3 tried to take a run at the crown when it came out—and many were convinced it would take COD out—but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 once again proved emphatically that the throne is still theirs to sit. Now Battlefield 4 is on the way, and it has Call of Duty: Ghosts in its sights.
It’s an interesting year for Call of Duty, as it’s Infinity Ward’s turn to take the wheel but they are not making the fourth installment in the Modern Warfare series as many expected. Instead it’s Ghosts, and a chance to try something new. Though judging by these new gameplay demos, it’s still the Call of Duty game you’d expect it to be. That said, they have brought in Oscar-winning filmmaker Stephen Gaghan to help with the story, so it could surprise some people in the end.
You can check out two new gameplay demos for Call of Duty: Ghosts below now, one of which shows how you can use your new canine companion, and the other shows some underwater action.

E3 2013: New Trailer & First Gameplay Demo For ‘Halo’ Creator Bungie’s Next Game ‘Destiny’
|
 |

Another impressive gameplay demo shown off at E3 was for Destiny, the next endeavor for Halo creators Bungie, which is a first-person shooter that also has multiplayer elements.
The game is set 700 years in the future after the Golden Age—an age of peace, prosperity, technological advancement, and exploration that saw humans spreading out and colonizing various planets in the Solar System—before an apocalyptic event known as the Collapse destroyed almost everything, ended the Golden Age, and left known survivors only on Earth, where a giant sphere known as the Traveler (seen above)—which gave humans the power to expand into space centuries earlier—protects them.
In Destiny you’ll play as a Guardian of the City who must investigate and neutralize hostile alien races who have taken over some of the former colonies humans had established and once occupied, and are on their way to the City, where the surviving human race is now living.
You can check out a new trailer for the game and a co-op gameplay demo below now.

E3 2013: New ‘Battlefield 4’ Gameplay Demo & Multiplayer Demo Videos

As expected, Dice and EA had plenty of new goodies to show off at E3 2013 for their next installment in the Battlefield franchise, Battlefield 4.
First came a brand new gameplay demo, and while it’s not as long as the first one we saw, it is every bit as intense. Ever seen an aircraft carrier split in half in the middle of the ocean? Dormant fighter jets and gravity used against your enemies? Buckle up. Then came the first multiplayer demo for the game, which shows off Commander mode.
Check out both Battlefield 4 demos below now.

Every single time.
This new demo shows off even more ways you can use the city environment to your advantage, and how it can help you (and your acquaintances) work your way out of trouble, both from enemies and the authorities.

E3 2013: Bethesda MMO ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’ Coming To Both Xbox One and PlayStation 4
|
 |

There’s a large existing group of MMO gamers out there, most of whom play World of Warcraft while others play a variety of different options. But the problem with MMOs has been that console gamers have had little to no interest in getting a proper PC just to play one. That said, even the most anti-MMO gamers (myself included) have been hypnotized by an upcoming title that’s looking to change the game.
The title of this MMO is The Elder Scrolls Online, and it is of course set in the same world as Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls games, including Oblivion and Skyrim. Just that alone was enough to intrigue first-person open world RPG fans such as myself, but then came our first good looks at the game itself, and they too were stunning. Unlike any MMO I’ve ever seen. But still, would we buy a new gaming PC just to play? Not likely.
Now comes the game changer. It has officially been announced that this MMO will not only be available for the Mac and the PC, but that you’ll also be able to play it on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles! Continue below to see a new trailer for the game.
