| ‘Blindspotting’ Trailer: Daveed Diggs Stars In A Thought-Provoking Film About Race Relations
It’s still hard to imagine that we live in a world where people can judge us simply by the color of our skin. Fortunately, we have films that try to bridge that gap, and hopefully, the world can accept people for who they are on the inside. Until then, the need for films like Blindspotting is necessary. Lionsgate has dropped the first trailer for the film, which stars Daveed Diggs (Hamilton) as a parolee who is simply trying to make it through his last three days without getting into trouble. Only thing is, his best friend Miles (Rafael Casal) keeps finding ways that could put him back in jail. On top of that, Diggs’ character witnesses a police officer shooting an unarmed African American, and the tension between the community and the police is beginning to have an adverse effect on those closest to him. Check out the latest trailer below.

Nick Damici (Stake Land) stars as Ambrose McKinley, a blind Vietnam veteran who is forced to move to a retirement community by his son (Ethan Embry, Cheap Thrills). The once-idyllic community of Crescent Bay has been plagued by a series of strange animal attacks. Something in the woods surrounding the community is killing off pets – and people go missing all the time. On Ambrose’s first night there, his guide dog Shadow is killed by a large dog-like beast. Turns out Ambrose has moved into a retirement community for werewolves. It’s a great place to live – lots of amenities – but there are a lot of noise complaints (and dismemberments) during the full moon.

| Are We Ready For A Sequel To ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’? |
 |

It’s being reported that a new movie in the National Lampoon series is now on the way, but it’s not quite the mindless processed generic college movies they have been making the last few years. No, this movie actually isn’t involved with the National Lampoon name at the moment, and will bring us right back to their roots with those lovable simpletons, the Griswold family. This new movie is planning to actually focus on the son in Vacation and its sequels, Rusty, and his family now going on a road trip of their own with references to his old family adventures. Wacky hijinks are sure to ensue. New Line Cinema is currently meeting with writers to get a script going as soon as possible, and it is noted that places will be left wide open for the main draw Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) and his wife (Beverly D’Angelo) to appear in some fashion as the now grandparents. The movie is aiming to be more like Planes, Trains and Automobiles and Little Miss Sunshine instead of other road trip movie trash like and Are We There Yet? and RV.
