| New UK Trailer For ‘300: Rise Of An Empire’ Released |
 |

We’ve already seen a two-and-a-half-minute trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire, the much anticipated sequel to Zack Snyder’s 2006 stylized hit about King Leonidas (Gerard Butler) and his brave 300 Spartans. But if you fear a trailer giving away too much and that first trailer is a little lengthy for your taste, here’s another option. The UK trailer for Rise of an Empire has been released, and it clocks in at only about a minute. The movie follows the Battle of Artemisium, another battle involving the Persians, led by the God-King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), that unfolds around the same time that 300‘s Battle of Thermopylae. It sees Xerxes’ commander of the Persian navy Artemisia (Eva Green) doing battle on the seas against Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton), a Greek general attempting to unite all of Greece. Lena Headey also makes an appearance in the movie and in this trailer, reprising her role as Queen Gorgo. You can check out the new UK trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire below.

| ‘300: Rise Of An Empire’ Trailer: Warriors Engage In A Historic Bloody Battle
The long gestating sequel to 300 has finally arrived. After what seemed like years of talk, 300: Rise of an Empire is the sequel that will tell the story of what happens after 300 Spartans died trying to fight off the Persian forces of Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro). Noam Murro (Smart People) directs this sequel, replacing Zack Snyder, who was a producer on this film. And it wouldn’t be much a 300 film if it didn’t have a little bloodshed and some breathtaking visuals. Luckily this film has plenty of that. In the film, Sullivan Stapleton plays Themistocles who leads the Greek army to fight Xerxes and the villainess Artemesia (Eva Green). Check out the first trailer for the film below.

| ‘Sin City: A Dame To Kill For’ Adds Veteran Actor Stacy Keach To The Cast |
 |

Ever since Sin City: A Dame To Kill For went into production, director Robert Rodriguez has continued to expand his mighty impressive ensemble cast on a weekly basis. Last week Eva Green signed on to play Ava Lord, the titular dame at the center of the action, and today we have word that the movie’s main villain has been cast. Stacy Keach, the veteran character actor with a career that spans more than five decades in film, theater, and television, has joined A Dame to Kill For as the crime boss Wallenquist, described by Sin City creator Frank Miller as “the one man who can’t be redeemed in Sin City. He is pure evil.” Now this movie has become a must-see as far as this writer is concerned. Keach has long been one of my favorite actors and he has an acting resume that even the biggest male movie star in Hollywood wishes they had. He got his start in the late 1950s on the syndicated comedy series How to Marry a Millionaire, but it took nearly ten years for him to make the leap to feature film acting. Keach was one of the most in-demand actors of the 1970s with roles in movies like Brewster McCloud, The New Centurions, John Huston’s brilliant boxing drama Fat City, the cult classic action-comedy The Dion Brothers, and the Jim Thompson adaptation The Killer Inside Me. Fans of the Cheech and Chong movies will recognize him as the doping duo’s police nemesis Sgt. Stedanko in Up in Smoke and Nice Dreams.
