I have to be honest; I did not see Pixels. I saw the preview and thought it looked like a great idea and a lot of fun, but then I remembered one thing. Adam Sandler hasn’t been in a live-action comedy I actually enjoyed since Bedtime Stories in 2008 almost a decade ago… and seriously, if I didn’t have small kids, I probably would’ve skipped that one too. Adam Sandler has gone from one of Hollywood’s can’t miss comedic actors, to being relegated to direct to Netflix “comedies” like The Ridiculous Six and most recently The Do-Over. He’s an easy target for sarcasm and ridicule, and thus we get an Honest Trailer for his 2015 critical flop Pixels by the gang at Screen Junkies.

Are you ready for Finding Dory? Because the gang at Screen Junkies are, and they’re getting you prepared with an Honest Trailer for the 2003 Disney/Pixar hit Finding Nemo. You remember, the one that you absolutely loved; until you watch it again, and realize Nemo’s mom and siblings were eaten by a barracuda in the opening few minutes. So get ready to well up your eyes, because Disney is about to hit you in the heartstrings again. Hopefully this sequel is more Toy Story 2 than Cars 2…

It’s hard to believe that Disney actually made money this year from sources outside Marvel comics, but let’s not forget Zootopia, the latest Pix-sny… Dis-nar… PIXAR film that grossed over a billion dollars worldwide. Zootopia was great and my 5-year old daughter loved it; which means I have a reprieve from Frozen!!! Even if they purposely have Idris Elba’s Chief Bogo tell Judy to “Let it go” in a not-so-subtle wink at parents. With the movie being released on Blu-ray and DVD this week, the gang at Screen Junkies gave it the Honest Trailer treatment.

Before they come “out of the shadows” on June 3rd, the gang at Screen Junkies wants to take you back in time… to a horrifying past where the heroes in a half shell wore denim jackets and put on a rock musical! Yep, before Michael Bay turned my childhood heroes into tall CGI monstrosities, and way after the greatness of the animated show, the toys, and the first two live action movies, the turtles hit the stage for the most bizarre and awful live act you may ever see. So sit back and enjoy, or avert your eyes from an Honest Trailer that NO ONE asked for – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Coming Out of Their Shells. In full disclosure, I did NOT have this VHS and never saw it, but if I knew it existed in 1990, I would’ve been all over it!

Buh duh duh duh duhhhhhh duh duh… if you grew up in the 90s you know you have the X-Men: The Animated Series opening theme stuck in your head. As expected, with X-Men: Apocalypse due out in theaters this week, the gang at Screen Junkies went back to one of the greatest animated shows of all time and gave the ’90s classics X-Men series the Honest Trailer treatment. This was legitimately my favorite show growing up, and I was so excited a few years back to get the entire series on DVD at a horror convention. So journey back to the time of super soakers and pizza bagels, when no one cared about the Avengers and enjoy the latest Honest Trailer.
