| ‘Logan’ Details Reveal Why Wolverine Needs Booze In Dystopian Future
Earlier today we learned that Wolverine 3 would officially be titled, Logan. Along with the title, film star Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold revealed the first teaser poster for the film that showed an older scarred Logan with his claws unsheathed and holding the hands of a small child. Because the film is based on the “Old Man Logan” story arc, it is assumed that the child in question is his, and that his wounds are defensive ones from protecting said child. Not only that, but a photo of the screenplay reveals that Logan is older and his regenerative powers are diminishing. Now more details about the film are coming out and it confirms that not only does Logan rely on booze to help ease the pain because his powers aren’t working, but mutant kind itself is in trouble. More on the story below.

| ‘Wolverine 3’ Gets An Official Title and Teaser Poster
For a long time, the press has been calling the third installment of the Wolverine franchise, Wolverine 3. Seems to make a bit of sense considering it all started with X-Men Origins: Wolverine and was followed up by The Wolverine. But like Batman Begins, the sequel title looks to call everyone’s favorite X-Men by another name. Both film star Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold have revealed the official title of the film, which will simply be called Logan. Though that isn’t truly the character’s real name, it is a name that he is commonly referred to by. There has been plenty of opportunities for FOX to reveal details about the film, but now that they have, they will have five months to show everyone that Logan will be worth the wait. More on the story below, along with the newly revealed teaser poster.

| Mr. Sinister Confirmed As The Villain In ‘Wolverine 3’
The X-Men: First Class films and The Wolverine have been tied together, with each of theme dropping an Easter egg that would lead up to a succeeding film by giving some sort of tip about a villain. At the time it wasn’t clear if Mr. Sinister would appear in a future installment of X-Men or one of its spinoffs. The character has had run-ins with the X-Men, Wolverine, and even Deadpool before. But now it has been confirmed that the vampire-looking mutant will appear in James Mangold‘s Wolverine 3. More on the story below.

Release Date: May 27, 2016 “Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.” If there’s one thing director Bryan Singer achieves with X-Men: Apocalypse, it’s channeling the excess and indulgence of the 1980s. The ninth installment in the X-Men series has too much of everything, including thinly written characters, stale end-of-the-world scenarios, and overblown CGI annihilation.
