| J.J. Abrams: Some ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Rumors Are True
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is 10 months away from its December 18 release, and though production is already completed, we are still no closer to knowing what the film is about. Besides the teaser trailer released back in November; the extremely short character bios with the online trading cards; and that ball droid BB-8 is a practical Effect, most of what we think we know about the Star Wars sequel is based on the many rumors and supposed spoilers that have surfaced online. Now, director J.J. Abrams is coming out to say that “some” of the rumors are true. In a recent interview, Abrams addresses those spoilers and understands why some people may read them. | ‘Star Wars’ Lightsaber Duel Turns Into Style Battle (Video)
A Jedi and a Sith meet in a snowy field. The Jedi holds a box. The Sith wants to know what’s inside this box. The Jedi does not want to show them. This, of course, is where the lightsabers come out for a good old ‘saber duel! At least that’s how it used to go down. Since the arrival of J.J. Abrams‘ slightly modified lightsaber in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, things have been different. Instead of an epic duel, the duo find themselves in a battle of style trying to determine who has the coolest, most unique lightsaber instead.
