| ‘Justice League’: Ben Affleck Steps Into Executive Producer Role
In addition to his central role as Batman, Ben Affleck is fast becoming one of the critical creative forces behind the camera in the DC Cinematic Universe. He reportedly performed on-set rewrites of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice script and will also be writing the future solo Batman movie (rumored to be titled The Batman) as well as directing the project. Recently, the multi-talented Affleck earned himself another hat to wear as he has taken on the role of executive producer on next year’s Justice League Part I, in which he is also obviously returning as Batman.

| James Wan Reassures Fans He’s Still Directing ‘Aquaman’
Last weekend, news surfaced that the conflict between Zack Snyder and Warner Bros over the creative vision of Justice League: Part One was having a ripple effect with those involved in the formation of the DCEU. Among those feeling its effects was James Wan, who was rumored to be “feeling tremendous amounts of trepidation” about directing Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa. Naturally, there was a wave of fear that the director would leave his post, which wouldn’t look good for the future of the DCEU now that Seth Grahame-Smith won’t be directing The Flash any longer. However, it appears the rumors of Wan’s possible departure may have been greatly exaggerated as Wan has responded to these rumors on social media. Check out what he had to say below.

| ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Trailer: Doomsday Is Upon Titular Heroes
2016 will see two movies about two legendary heroes at odds and forced to fight each other by some outside force. It’s a bit perplexing as to why WB didn’t release the trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice during their Flash and Arrow annual crossover episode and decided to debut the trailer during Jimmy Kimmel Live, which airs on ABC, a Disney owned network, but I digress. The fact of the matter is, we are getting a new trailer for Dawn of Justice, and after a lackluster teaser, and a fairly descent Comic-Con trailer, this latest one will surely have comic book fans (yes even the Marvel ones) excited for this one. | New ‘Batman v Superman’ Images; Henry Cavill & Ben Affleck Talk Prologue
Though we are still about five months away from the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the hype machine continues to run on all cylinders. Recently, a viral marketing campaign gave us a glimpse into the world of LexCorp. Then, a new rumor popped up hinting that Wonder Woman would take place months before the events of Batman v Superman, and that Batman has been observing Wonder Woman for some time. In the months leading up to the film’s debut, we are likely to get even more trailers, clips, and other promotional items that will crack the DC Cinematic Universe wide open. Now a new set of images have appeared online, and Henry Cavill is talking a little bit about the highly anticipated sequel, and even a “prologue.” More on the story below.
