| Check Out Chubby Puss In Boots & Warrior Gingerbread Man In These New ‘Shrek 4’ Character Posters
Paramount Pictures has released a batch of new posters from the upcoming fourth film in their Ogre with a heart of gold franchise, Shrek Forever After. Most of these new posters are actually pretty awesome, but that could just be because I’m a big Shrek fan. It can’t be denied that Shrek the Third was a swing and a miss, but the first two were a ton of fun, and we can only hope for a return to form with this one. It will really all depend on if filmmakers reacted to the negativity with positive action, or if they just want to cash-in one last time. For integrity’s sake, let’s hope for the former. Take a magical journey over to the other side to see the four new posters from Shrek Forever After now!

| Watch Now: Teaser Trailer For ‘Shrek Forever After’ |
 |

It’s amazing how many trailers have been released this week, and there’s no signs of things slowing down any time soon. The first teaser trailer for Shrek Forever After is the latest to be shown to the world, and you can give it a little peek below. The movie will be the final film made in the series, though there is the planned Puss in Boots spinoff is still on the table. Stars of previous movies like Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas, Justin Timberlake, Julie Andrews, and Eric Idle are all returning with newcomers to the cast including Kristin Schaal, Craig Robinson, Kathy Griffin, and Jon Hamm. After Shrek the Third, many were turned off of the series. The first two movies were great fun, but there’s no denying that the third film was a complete flat tire. Shrek Forever After has already made one mistake in using terrible songs in their movies as you will hear here, but hopefully this fourth film will return us back to the magic of Shrek 2. Continue on to the other side to watch the trailer for Shrek Forever After, and head to Apple for the HD options.

| It Never Stops! Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake & Anna Faris Join ‘Yogi Bear’
In yet another announcement regarding a classic cartoon character, it appears as though there is a Yogi Bear movie in the works, and it’s actually set to begin filming next month. Naturally, this will be another hybrid movie that will mix live-action humans with the former cartoons getting their CGI makeover. This comes from an Entertainment Weekly report stating that there are three big names currently in negotiations to take the lead roles in the movie: Dan Aykroyd, Justin Timberlake, and Anna Faris. If these talks all work out in the end, Aykroyd would voice the picnic-addicted bear Yogi; Timberlake would take on his tiny little buddy Boo-Boo, and Faris would be playing a nature documentary film maker named Rachel that chooses the bears as her latest project.

| Drumroll Please…Ryan Reynolds Will Be The ‘Green Lantern’ |
 |

For a good chunk of time, the three names rumored to be up for the coveted title role in the Green Lantern movie were Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, Wedding Crashers), Chris Pine (Star Trek, Smokin’ Aces), and Ryan Gosling (Half Nelson, The Notebook) (Read: ‘Green Lantern’ Gets Pushed Back Six; May Have Its Star). Just yesterday, word came around that a new list of three had been deduced, and that list still included Cooper, but added both Justin Timberlake (Alpha Dog) and Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Proposal). Thankfully, instead of this turning into another The Dark Knight Joker casting rumor bonanza, the actor has been chosen, and it is indeed Ryan Reynolds. As is common, the deal isn’t completely official yet, but Reynolds did two screen tests for the studio and they chose him, so right now they’re just trying to work on the monetary and contractual obligations. It’s safe to assume that they want this to be a massive franchise and not just one successful movie, so expect the actor to likely sing on for a few pictures.

 Shrek the Third
Blu-Ray Edition
Directed by: Chris Miller
Starring Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonia Banderas, Justin Timberlake
Paramount Home Entertainment
Release date: September 23, 2008
Sometimes, trilogies take a great film and make a legendary series out of it. Sometimes… they take what was good about the original, regurgitate it over and over, and the end result is a garbled shell of what made the original entertaining. This latter accurately describes Shrek The Third. The first Shrek was a phenomenal showcase of how far animation technology has come and a biting lampoon of Disney. The sequel managed to keep the same sharp wit and turned it attention towards the Hollywood subculture. The third time around, the writer went full-potty humor and turned their attention towards… fitting in in high school? Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) is set to inherit the kingdom of Far, Far Away, but he doesn’t want the responsibility, especially after learning Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz) is pregnant. So he sails off in search of his young cousin Arthur (voiced by Justin Timberlake) to get him to take the throne.
