Season 3 Episode 10: “Borrowing Problems from the Future”
Directed by Millicent Shelton
Written by Grainne Godfree & David Kob
Starring Grant Gustin, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Panabaker, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Keiynan Lonsdale
Created by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg, Geoff Johns
The CW
Air Date: Tuesday, January 24th, 2017, 8:00pm Last time on The Flash, we saw a bit of Julian’s (Tom Felton) history, which basically explained the Alchemy/Savitar situation with something called the Philosopher’s Stone. Earth-3’s Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) was supportive (almost like a dad), with wise words and a suggestion to get rid of the Philosophers Stone (oh yeah-fixed Julian and “fixed” Savitar), of throwing it in the speed force. Barry (Grant Gustin) accidentally ran 5 months into the future and watched Iris (Candice Patton) die at the hands of Savitar. Barry gave Iris an awesome apartment for Christmas. Spoilers below.

Air Date: Tuesday, November 29th, 2016, 8:00pm Last night, Barry Allen and Cisco Ramon (Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes) stopped by Supergirl via wormhole to recruit Kara (Melissa Benoist) for a slight problem. The episode was good, but there was definitely not enough crossover – merely the last 2 minutes. Tonight’s episode of The Flash was the payoff as the gang was all here. Spoilers below.

| The CW Crossover: Heroes vs Aliens – The Dominators (Videos)
In what looks to be part Independence Day, part War of the Worlds, part V, part Superman, part everything you’ve always wanted in a superhero/alien movie, The CW is going for it. Touched upon in the last couple of minutes of Supergirl last night, when Barry Allen and Cisco Ramon (Grant Gustin, Carlos Valdes) popped up in Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) living room through a wormhole asking for help, tonight is when it seems the whole gang will get together. The CW has released “The Dominators” trailer and a behind the scenes look at how everything is going down. Check out both videos below.

The CW
Air Date: Tuesday, October 18th, 2016, 8:00pm Last week on The Flash, Barry told Felicity (Grant Gustin, Emily Bett Rickards) the whole convoluted tale of his flashpoint paradox, with masterful storytelling editing. The enjoyment of this season thus far are the subtle changes wrought by the unfixed fix (Diggle’s son?), with the exception of Cisco (Carlos Valdes) being morose. Earth-2 Flash (John Wesley Shipp) grabbed him to give him a dad lecture about moving on. Barry came clean to his friends, who took it with varying degrees of grace and anger. Alchemy woke up Rival who tried to kill him, but Barry beat him. Barry’s new lab mate, Julian (Tom Felton), hates him. Spoilers below.

Air Date: Tuesday, October 11th, 2016, 8:00pm Last week on The Flash, Barry (Grant Gustin) was in family heaven… at first. His parents were alive and happy. There was another Flash running around, so he didn’t have to be the hero anymore. He still worked at the CCPD. He soon realized other things were awry. Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) was a drunk and unreliable, and didn’t like him. He didn’t even know Iris (Candice Patton), but he was confident he could get back into her life. Soon, Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale), Iris, and Barry come out to each other because they need to team up. They go to Cisco (Carlos Valdes), the richest man in America. Barry kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), who is an opthamologist, to help (she does help a bit too). In the end, Barry decided to take Reverse Flash (whom he imprisoned) back to kill his mother and return him to his timeline. But even that had consequences. Spoilers below for episode 3.2!
