Gritty Los Angeles was displayed once more, but this time, the context of the outbreak is interspersed throughout. It looks horrifying with many a jump scare. No wonder it has already been confirmed for a 2nd season.

AMC has released a new trailer for its upcoming series, Fear The Walking Dead, a prequel to extremely popular, The Walking Dead. Set in Los Angeles at the onset of the zombie outbreak, the series focuses on a family, and their dynamics during this trying time.

Before its first 6-episode season has even begun, when all we see are snapshots and quickie trailers, Robert Kirkman‘s prequel to his wildly successful The Walking Dead, has been confirmed for a second season. That’s right. Fear The Walking Dead, will return for a 15-episode season 2 in 2016.

At San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, the cast and crew of AMC’s TWD prequel series, Fear The Walking Dead, hung out in Hall H gifting everyone with an exclusive trailer and premiere date, while also giving its already growing fan base some insight into how it would feel different from “the mother ship.”
