| NYCC 2018: ‘The Walking Dead’ Panel Confirms The Return Of Some Old Faces
The Walking Dead Panel closed out New York Comic-Con Saturday night at the Hulu Theater at MSG, and it was bittersweet, as it was Andrew Lincoln‘s last one as Rick Grimes, as this is his last season as the popular character. Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead) moderated, and after a bunch of amazing trailers and The Walking Dead commercials, he introduced the dazzling cast and crew: new showrunner Angela Kang, Scott Gimple, co-creator Robert Kirkman, producer Dave Alpert, executive producer Gale Ann Hurd, producer and director Greg Nicotero, stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa McBride (Carol), Danai Gurira (Michonne), and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan).

| Robert Kirkman Bringing Roger Zelazny’s ‘Chronicles Of Amber’ To TV
Walking Dead comic book creator Robert Kirkman will be developing Roger Zelazny‘s epic scifi-fantasy saga Chronicles Of Amber for television. Kirkman will be adapting Zelazny’s 10-book series with his Skybound Entertainment banner partner Dave Alpert, as well as Vincent Newman Entertainment (We’re the Millers), in what THR reports could be TV’s next Game of Thrones. GoT author George R.R. Martin has often credited Zelazny as one of his biggest inspirations.

| AMC Gives ‘The Walking Dead’ Spinoff The GreenlightHot off the news that AMC would be moving forward with a Breaking Bad spinoff, tentatively titled Better Call Saul based on the character Saul Goodman, comes word that the network is moving forward with another spinoff based off one of their highly successful shows. According to The Hollywood Reporter, AMC has given the greenlight for an untitled Walking Dead spinoff. The announcement was made by the network, The Walking Dead comic book creator Robert Kirkman, and executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and Dave Alpert.
