| Bill Murray To Cameo In Paul Feig’s ‘Ghostbusters’ Reboot
Cameos in reboots are a nice nod to the originals, but don’t happen for all films, and it nearly didn’t happen for the upcoming Ghostbusters. Dan Aykroyd signed on for a cameo role in the new Paul Feig-directed reboot, which is currently in production in Boston. But he won’t be the only original member of the Ghostbusters cast to cameo in the reboot. Reports are coming in that Bill Murray had arrived in Boston last week, to shoot his own cameo appearance. In what has become a quintessential part of making a “going to space” movie, the dreaded interview process to determine mental faculties is now a staple of the genre. In a new spot for The Martian, we see Matt Damon and crew answer the really tough questions after being isolated for 10 days. Tough questions like…why Aquaman shouldn’t be able to control whales because whales aren’t fish, they’re mammals. Yeah, this movie is gonna be awesome. | Watch The ‘Zoolander 2’ Trailer! (Video)
Paramount Pictures released the trailer to Zoolander 2 today, in response to the online leak yesterday. About a minute and a half, the trailer ponders the mysteries of the universe as narrated by someone who sounds suspiciously like Stephen Hawking, going from the Big Bang to the evolution of the human brain, which looks like it includes hair dryers and mermen (from the first film). | Netflix’s ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ Making Of Video
Netflix has released another preview for Wet Hot American Summer: The First Day of Camp, the limited prequel series based on the 2001 cult hit comedy Wet Hot American Summer. All eight episodes of the series will be released on Netflix this Friday, July 31st. The new preview is a behind the scenes making of video with many of the cast and crew, which includes Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Judah Friedlander, Janeane Garofalo, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, Christopher Meloni, Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, David Hyde Pierce, Paul Rudd, Molly Shannon, and Michael Showalter, talking about working on the series and, for many of them, returning to the roles they played about 15 years ago now. | Here’s A Look At All Four New ‘Ghostbusters’ In Full Costume
Bridesmaids and Spy director Paul Feig has been in a very giving mood lately when it comes to his reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise. First he shared images of the new uniforms and proton pack, followed by a peek at the Ecto-1 vehicle. Now Feig has shared another image featuring all of these things; however this time the four new ghost bustin’ team members, played by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, are also present. Feig also included a custom hashtag as he has been doing, and of course this time it was #whoyougonnacall. You can see the new ladies of Ghostbusters in full gear standing next to the Ecto-1 below.
