| ‘The Morning Show’ Trailer: Morning News With Jennifer Aniston Has Never Been More Cutthroat
Sometimes fiction can be a reflection of reality. Lately, national news anchors losing their jobs over accusations of sexual harassment have been making headlines. As such, it has become the basis for Apple TV+’s newest series The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell. In it, Carell plays Mitch Kessler, a major news anchor who has been fired off from a national broadcast morning show, leaving his co-host Alex Levy (played by Aniston) to run the show on her own. But when Bradley Jackson, a new younger news reporter (played by Witherspoon), is chosen to be a co-anchor, Alex views the new addition as someone who could take her job. Soon, it becomes a battle of egos and doing whatever it takes to protect their standing or advance in the world of morning news television. Check out the full trailer here below.

| Movie Review: Tully
Tully

Cast: Charlize Theron, Mackenzie Davis, Mark Duplass, Ron Livingston
Distributor: Focus Features
Rated PG-13 | Minutes: 96 Minutes
Release Date: May 4, 2018 For some, parenthood is easy and comes almost naturally. For others, it can be a bit of a challenge. And I cannot say that I am an authority figure on motherhood, given my clear lack of experience, but Jason Reitman‘s Tully, a comedy-drama starring Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis, is probably one of the most honest depictions of what it is like to be a mother in a contemporary age. Check out my full review of the film here below.

| Movie Review: Creep 2
Creep 2
Directed by Patrick Brice
Written by Patrick Brice & Mark Duplass
Starring Desiree Akhavan, Mark Duplass, Karan Soni
Distributor: Orchard Entertainment
Release date: October 24, 2017 Video On Demand In 2014, Patrick Brice and Mark Duplass co-wrote and starred in a low-budget indie horror film called Creep. It lived up to its name it spades as both Duplass was a creep and the film was creepy as hell. Brice and Duplass crafted a near-perfect example of minimalist filmmaking. It featured two actors, essentially one large set, and a “script” full of improv. The plot: a videographer answers a Craigslist ad to film the last day of a dying man’s life, leading to a one-camera feel light on editing and cuts, and putting the audience right there amongst the uncomfortableness. And Mark Duplass upped the “creep” factor to 11, creating what just might become a new horror icon. Now, Brice and Duplass return with Creep 2.
