| ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Super Bowl Spot Brings On The Mutant War
FOX doesn’t seem to mind that they cannot play in the Marvel Studios sandbox. As much of a disappointment that is to the fans, there is no denying that the success of the X-Men film franchise has spawned exciting spinoffs like the Wolverine films and the upcoming Deadpool, the latter of which got its own Super Bowl spot tonight. Now in anticipation for X-Men: Apocalypse summer release, the studio has released a Super Bowl spot for the upcoming X-Men sequel , which you can check out here below.

| More ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Movie Photos Show Us Past and Present
Yesterday, we were offered our first official look at Assassin’s Creed, 20th Century Fox’s big screen adaptation of the popular video game of the same name starring Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch. It has been confirmed that the film adaptation would take place in the same universe as the video game, but will be a separate story. Fassbender reunites with his Macbeth director, Justin Kurzel, as well as Macbeth co-star Marion Cotillard. Since the film is based on the same premise as the video game the film is based on, we will definitely be seeing Lynch as a descendant of a long line of Assassins. And these two new images are a reflection of that. Check out the two new images below.

| Geek Peek: ‘Assassin’s Creed’ Image Sees Michael Fassbender Planning His Next Move
Films based on video games have had a reputation of not being very good. But when one of those film stars Oscar-nominated Michael Fassbender, it might have a chance of being entertaining. The X-Men actor will star as Callum Lynch in 20th Century Fox’s adaptation of Assassin’s Creed from director Justin Kurzel (Macbeth). While a promotional image was released a few months back (see above), the news that came with it didn’t tell us much other than the fact that the film was about to start shooting. While this new image is nothing to get excited for either, it does give us a new look at Fassbender and co-star Ariane Labed (Before Midnight). Check it out here below.

| ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Trailer: One Giant Mutant Apocalyptic Calamity After Another |

20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse starring James McAvoy (Victor Frankenstein), Michael Fassbender (Macbeth), and Jennifer Lawrence (Joy), all of whom will reprise their roles as Professor X, Magneto, and Mystique, respectively. Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) stars as the titular villain. Directed by Bryan Singer, the film marks the end of the First Class Trilogy. In the film, En Sabah Nur is considered the very first mutant of human civilization. Worshiped as a god, the immortal mutant has a collection of powers that no single mutant can stop. After millennia of slumber, Apocalypse will awaken, disappointed in the state of the world. He recruits four of the most powerful mutants he can find, which includes a demoralized Magneto, to create a new mutant world order. Now, the X-Men must ally themselves with former enemies to stop Apocalypse from succeeding with this plan. Check out the first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse here below.
