| ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Trailer Attached To ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’
While the titular villain of X-Men: Apocalypse has received some harsh criticism for not looking like his comic book counterpart, fans were still be excited by the fact that the upcoming film, which will end the First Class trilogy, would feature Marvel’s first mutant. We haven’t seen much in terms of footage since San Diego Comic-Con last summer. Maybe that was because everyone was just hyped to see Deadpool, which got a momentous positive reaction by everyone in Hall H. Now we have a slight idea of when the first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will be released. According to the film’s producer, Simon Kinberg, it will be attached to theatrical showings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. More on the story below.

| ‘Steve Jobs’ Trailer: “The Plan Will Reveal Itself To You”
Universal has released a new trailer for the new Steve Jobs biopic Steve Jobs. Directed by Danny Boyle (27 Days Later, 127 Hours) using a script written by Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, The Newsroom), the film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular iconic who helped pave the way for a technological revolution. It will focus on the three iconic product launches which Jobs helped create as well as the boardroom politics, his family, and the drive the inventor had to bring the people the kind of technology that would change the world. | Michael Fassbender Will Return For ‘Prometheus 2’
No matter how you feel about Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus, a sequel has been under development for a couple of years. The prequel to Scott’s Alien franchise focuses on a human space expedition to help understand their origins. While we still don’t know much about the plot or if Noomi Rapace will reprise her role as Elizabeth Shaw for the sequel, Scott will return to direct Prometheus 2, and now he has confirmed that Michael Fassbender will reprise his role as the android David. | Michael Fassbender In Talks To Star In ‘The Snowman’
Universal Pictures and Working Title are now in talks with Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) to direct The Snowman, but the biggest news is that the two are also in talks with Michael Fassbender to star in the lead role, Harry Hole, a detective who investigates the disappearance of a young boy’s mother when the pink scarf that he gave her suddenly appears on a snowman. His investigation leads him to believe that Norway may have their first serial killer. Hole has been described as brilliant and driven detective with unorthodox methods, a classic loose cannon in the police force. He is also a heavy smoker and an alcoholic. The film will be an adaptation of Jo Nesbø‘s novel of the same name, which is actually the seventh book in the Harry Hole novel series.
