‘Who Fears Death’: HBO Developing Post-Apocalyptic Drama Based On Nnedi Okorafor Novel

HBO is developing a potential new drama series titled Who Fears Death based on author Nnedi Okorafor‘s novel of the same name, with Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin executive producing as part of his overall deal with HBO.
The story is set in post-apocalyptic Africa, and mixes in some fantasy elements as well. It follows a girl who, considered an outcast, sets off on a dangerous journey.

‘Deadwood’ Movie Given Greenlight By HBO

Back in August it was reported that HBO was considering the possibility of making a movie to continue the story of their series Deadwood, which was canceled far too early almost a decade ago now back in May of 2006.
Now it appears that a Deadwood movie is in fact happening, believe it or not. In a recent chat with president of HBO programming Michael Lombardo, he said that he has given the go ahead to series creator David Milch to make the movie. Read the quotes and more below.

HBO Talks When ‘Game Of Thrones’ Might End, If It Will Conclude With A Movie

The end of Game of Thrones is a terribly depressing thing to think about for fans. Thankfully a final season has yet to be announced, but that doesn’t mean that those involved with the show aren’t already thinking about when they’ll wrap everything up and try to stick the landing, so to speak.
HBO programming president Michael Lombardo and showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have spoken on when the end of the show might come, and also on whether or not they would consider concluding the show with a last hurrah on the big screen instead of on HBO.

HBO Gives ‘The Leftovers’ A Season 2

HBO has officially decided to give one of their new series, The Leftovers, a second season.
The show comes from LOST co-creator and co-showrunner Damon Lindelof, and is based on the book by Tom Perrotta. It follows people trying to move on after a Rapture-like event sees almost 200 million people disappearing without a trace.
