In that epic cast reveal, it was noted that Orlando Bloom had been offered a role as well. Now comes word that Bloom has indeed accepted the offer and will be in the film. | Woah Now! ‘Three Musketeers’ Casts Christoph Waltz, Milla Jovovich, Logan Lerman & Many More
Now THIS is some casting news. Instead of announcing one name at a time, almost all of the cast for Paul W.S. Anderson‘s new take on The Three Musketeers has been revealed all in one epic explosion of names. The movie is one of two Musketeer films currently being made (the other being directed by Doug Liman for Warner Brothers), and though Anderson is not always beloved by movie fans, this cast will make it really difficult not to be excited about. The role of D’Artagnan, a man with dreams of becoming a Musketeer, but who finds much trouble on his road to achieving this goal, will be played by Logan Lerman. Lerman is a budding star who recently appeared as Percy in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and was also a candidate for the role of Peter Parker in Sony’s reboot of the Spider-Man franchise.

| Natalie Portman Reveals That Kat Dennings Has Joined Her In Kenneth Branagh’s ‘Thor’ |
 |

This is one of those odd casting announcements that kind of comes out of left field. It might have been something that wasn’t supposed to be known yet; it might end up being a complete misunderstanding. But for the moment, it is straight from the mouth of one of the stars, so we all run with it. While speaking to MTV recently about her upcoming movie with Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal, Brothers, Natalie Portman was prompted to talk about her upcoming role in Thor and who of the fantastic and still-growing cast she was most excited to be working with. Portman surprised the interviewer and all who have since watched the video with her response: “Well I’m really excited, Kat Dennings is going to be in it with me and she’s a good friend and an amazing actress, so I’m looking forward to that,” the actress revealed. This is not a casting announcement that had been officially made yet, so now everyone is wondering who Miss Dennings could be playing.

| Kevin McKidd Says ‘Rome’ Movie Is Still Being Shopped |
 |

In the same interview with the NY Post that revealed the possibility of a Call of Duty movie being made, Scottish actor Kevin McKidd also talked about HBO’s Rome and the rumored feature film that its producers are hoping to make of it. Since Rome was canceled WAY too soon, not much has been spoken of it; but within the past year or so, Ray Stevenson began speaking of a possible movie that producer Bruno Heller wanted to make that would be based on the show. The very thought of this is immensely exciting for fans like myself who thirst for more of this merciless, graphic, semi-historically accurate series, but the situation would also be a tricky one as Rome was one of the most expensive shows ever made (the reason why HBO killed it so quickly), and most of its sets were destroyed (supposedly). Another tricky aspect would be the content — as I’ve said before: the content on HBO included countless things that you would NEVER see in a theatrical production, so it would be difficult indeed.
