Transformers: Age of Extinction poster crop

According to longtime Transformers director Michael Bay, there’s 14 more movies in the franchise on the way including the spinoffs, and he’s interested in making one of those spinoffs. Now, before we shake our heads in (not so surprised) disbelief, let’s just get one thing out of the way first. Transformers: The Last Knight is supposed to be Bay’s last film in the franchise. At least that’s what he’s said. Remember, he previously told the press that for Transformers: Dark of the Moon. So it doesn’t come as a shock when he also says he’d like to do one of the spinoffs.

Secondly, 14 more Transformers films was not unexpected. At least not when Bay, Akvia Goldsman, and Steven Spielberg gathered a group of writers to pitch ideas to expand the franchise into a shared universe. More on the story below.

Invincible Comic Ending Cover

With Preacher on AMC, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg already have a comic book adaptation they’re involved with. Robert Kirkman has lots of comic books, two of which have been adapted into TV series: AMC’s mega-hit zombie drama The Walking Dead (not to mention its spinoff Fear the Walking Dead), which are also on AMC, and Outcast on Cinemax.

Now this trio is set to join forces for a new project at Universal Pictures. Rogen and Goldberg are set to write, direct, and produce a movie adaptation of Kirkman’s second longest-running comic book series behind The Walking Dead, titled Invincible, with Kirkman also producing through his Skybound Entertainment.

Max Landis to Remake An American Werewolf in London

Another day another story about a remake. News of these remakes are not entirely unexpected as the well of original stories has practically run dry. Most would agree that today’s remakes are poor if not nauseating reflections of the original.

So just imagine how An American Werewolf in London fans are feeling when they heard that Max Landis will write and direct the remake. More on the story below.

Invincible Comic Ending Cover

The end is near for Invincible.

In 2003, Robert Kirkman introduced the world to The Walking Dead — the comic book that would go on to spawn the television ratings giant of the same name. But the same year, Kirkman, along with Cory Walker and later Ryan Ottley, also released Invincible at Image Comics — a comic that sports the tagline “The Best Superhero Comic In The Universe.” And let me tell you, this is not far from the truth.

Now Kirkman has announced that the long-running comic will be ending. See when that will be below.
