| The Gunslinger and The Man In Black Cast For ‘Dark Tower’ TV Series
Once upon a time, there were big, big plans for an adaptation of Stephen King‘s book series The Dark Tower. A trilogy of movies, joined by two seasons of an accompanying television series. But sometimes things don’t quite work out how they were planned. We did eventually get a movie, but it fared poorly at the box office and even worse with critics. But the good news for fans of the books is that there is still a TV series in the works. The two just aren’t tied together anymore. The series is set up at Amazon, and now it appears that they have found their Gunslinger and Man in Black.

SYFY isn’t the most popular right now after canceling another show, The Expanse, which didn’t perform as well as they wanted it to but still had an extremely passionate fanbase. Thankfully those fans were outspoken and helped convince Amazon to swoop in and save that series, and now SYFY has promising new shows like Nightflyers and Deadly Class to look forward to. We’re getting our first look at Nightflyers, an upcoming series based on the 1980 novella of the same name written by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin. The show, which is described by Martin in the video as “a haunted house story on a starship” and “Psycho in space,” is a fusion of science fiction, horror, and psychological thriller. It follows a team of scientists on a mission to find life in the universe, and stars Eoin Macken, Gretchen Mol, David Ajala, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Angus Sampson, Jodie Turner-Smith, and BrÃan F. | ‘Leatherface’: Red Band Trailer For ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Prequel Released
A red band trailer has been released for Leatherface, a prequel to Tobe Hooper’s horror classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The prequel is directed by French filmmakers Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury, whose previous credits include Inside (À l’intérieur), Livid (Livide), Among the Living (Aux yeux des vivants), and The ABCs of Death 2 segment “X is for Xylophone.” Starring is Jessica Madsen, Sam Coleman, Sam Strike, James Bloor, Vanessa Grasse, Stephen Dorff, and Lili Taylor.
