| ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Featurette Details Rift Between Cap and Iron Man
As its title suggests Captain America: Civil War will center on the infighting between two of the greatest Avengers: Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). It will still be a film that focuses mainly on its titular hero, while also marking the first time that a hero like Iron Man will appear in a role bigger than a cameo. With the world recovering from the events of Ultron’s attack on the Earth, Sokovia Accords was created in order to regulate the deployment of enhanced individuals, particularly the Avengers, orchestrated by world governments. We saw a little bit of that in action in the first trailer for the film, and now a new featurette that can be seen in the Phase 2 Box Set helps explain how it all led up to Civil War in greater detail, and how the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s newest hero will play the role of the “monarch.” Check it out below.

| ‘Civil War’: Black Panther Outruns Captain America In New Photos
Fresh off the release of the posters and trailer for Captain America: Civil War comes the debut of a couple of new images and some insights on the MCU’s newest character the Black Panther. When it was first announced that the Wakandian Prince would make his MCU debut in Civil War, it wasn’t clear who he would align himself with. But concept art appeared to show that he sided with Iron Man, which was supported by the fact that he kicked Bucky aka The Winter Soldier in the face and that he was also running away from Captain America in the first trailer. Now is allegiance to Iron Man is starting to look shaky. In an interview with EW, actor Chadwick Boseman reveals that there is a bit of mystery behind Black Panther, and that he hasn’t made up his mind about either side. Check out what he had to say about Black Panther’s role in Civil War below.

| Rumor: ‘Captain America: Civil War’ Trailer Attached To ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’
It’s been a few months since we saw the footage of Captain America: Civil War at the D23 Expo. At the time there was only about a week’s worth of shooting left before the sequel was completed. Much of what we saw looked pretty polished, and could have been condensed and cut for a trailer. But nothing has been released since then. One might suspect that they would attach the first trailer to a tentpole film, which would make sense since September and October aren’t known for blockbuster films. While there have been rumors that the Civil War trailer would be attached to Spectre, which is in U.K. theaters now but drops in North America next week, there is another one that says it will be attached to none other than Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Because, you know, both Marvel and Lucasfilm are owned by Disney. More on this story below.

Release Date: October 2, 2015 “It is good to renew one’s wonder, said the philosopher. Space travel has again made children of us all.” – Ray Bradbury, The Martian Chronicles A classic work of twentieth-century literature, 1950’s The Martian Chronicles documents the exploration and colonization of Mars by humans fleeing an unstable Earth. Sixty-five years later, we’re still trying to reach the red planet. Of course, there have been countless cinematic explorations of Mars: The Angry Red Planet, Robinson Crusoe on Mars, Total Recall, Mission to Mars, John Carter – and who could forget Mars Needs Women and Santa Claus Conquers the Martians? And while fantastical these films may be, none of them have transported me to Mars in a way that felt truly and undeniably real. Enter The Martian. Written by Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods) and directed by Ridley Scott (Exodus: Gods and Kings), The Martian is based on Andy Weir‘s 2011 novel of the same name. It is the harrowing story of the first human to colonize Mars, NASA astronaut Mark Watney, played by Matt Damon.
