| Producer Simon Kinberg In Line To Direct ‘X-Men: Supernova’
The latest rumors say that tentatively titled X-Men: Supernova is scheduled to begin production this year. While those reports have yet to be confirmed, the film itself is without a director. Considering that Deadpool was a hit and critics agree that Logan is one of the best X-Men films ever, Fox wants to continue releasing more X-Men films. | ‘X-Men’ Sequel Will Take Place In The 1990s
Since the release of X-Men: First Class, each installment of the X-Men film franchise has taken place in key moments in recent history. First Class took place during the Cuban Missile Crisis during the 1960s, Days Of Future Past occurred during the early 1970s, and Apocalypse will be during the 1980s. | ‘Wolverine 3’ Confirmed To Be Rated R; Will Have “Western” Tone
For a long time, there has been speculation that Wolverine 3 would have an R rating, following the huge box office success of Deadpool. There were also rumors that the final installment of the Wolverine franchise starring Hugh Jackman would be inspired by the “Old Man Logan” comic book storyline. Of course seeing how The Wolverine Uncut Edition was much more well-received than its theatrical cut may have had something to do with that decision as well.
