Tomorrowland header

Much of Disney’s Tomorrowland has been shrouded in secrecy. The film’s title would suggest that Brad Bird‘s latest, written by Damon Lindelof, had strong ties to the sci-fi portion of the Disneyland theme park, but neither of them or the two trailers or the marketing itself would reveal any answers or confirm that notion.

All we knew was that a trading pin would instantly transport the holder to a highly futuristic city at lies somewhere between time and space.

Now a new trailer is offering more clues that will help unravel the mystery behind Tomorrowland. Hit the jump to check out the latest trailer for the film.

Most Anticipated Films of 2015 - Avengers: Age Of Ultron Ultron

Every year, thousands of movies hit theater screens around the world and I’m usually only able to catch a handful during their entire theatrical run. Therefore, I have to be pretty damn selective when it comes to what I choose to spend that precious Fandango gift card I received for Christmas on to see. With that in mind, I have assembled a list of the 20 films that are most likely to chip away at the obsidian monolith that is my movie ticket budget.

As you may have already noticed, I took the subheading of this article from a quote often attributed to Terminator 2: Judgment Day: “The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.” I suppose that’s my pretentious way of suggesting that one or more of the films on this list could turn out to be complete wastes of time, but we won’t know for sure until they’re released theatrically in the coming months.

Also, the release dates noted in the article are correct as of press time, but are subject to change.

Disney Pictures has released a teaser video for their upcoming Super Bowl spot for Tomorrowland, a mystery adventure starring George Clooney and directed by Brad Bird (The Incredibles).

Check out the quick teaser here below. The full TV spot will air on television during the Super Bowl this Sunday, and we’ll have it here as soon as its officially released online.

The teaser trailer released back in October featured voiceover by Clooney, but only a second of the actor on screen. During the Golden Globes earlier this month, a tribute reel to the Gravity actor revealed a tiny glimpse more of his role in the film.

Golden Globes 2015 Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader

The 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony aired live on Sunday night, January 11, 2015, from Beverly Hills, CA, where we saw Richard Linklater’s Boyhood dominate the film drama category and Michael Keaton and his latest film Birdman top the comedy film area, while in TV, Showtime’s The Affair, FX’s Fargo, and Amazon’s Transparent took home multiple Globes. (Check out the full list of 2015 Golden Globe winners here.)

The ceremony, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for their third and final time, had a lot of great moments – some funny, some poignant, some noteworthy. There was the hilarious opening by the hosts, another classic Benedict Cumberbatch photobomb, a lot of George Clooney love, and much more, including several references to the recent threats on the entertainment community from North Korea and the murders at the Charlie Hebdo offices in France.

See below for some highlights from the 2015 Golden Globe Awards ceremony.
