Release Date: September 25, 2012 Despite appearing to have died at the end of Thor the God of Thunder’s treacherous brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) has arrived on Earth from exile somewhere in the galaxy to steal the Tesseract, a cosmic weapon capable of unleashing an awesome and destructive power if fallen into the wrong hands, from the possession of S.H.I.E.L.D. In the process Loki uses his scepter to take over the minds of agent Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) and physicist Dr. Eric Selvig (Stellan Skarsgard) so that they may assist him in his plans for world domination. S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) has no other option but the “Avengers Initiative”, a plan that would bring together the world’s most powerful super-beings as one fighting force to combat Loki’s threat.

| Mondo’s Latest Posters For ‘Halloween’ & ‘Big Top Pee-Wee’ |

When Mondo releases their latest piece of artwork, you can be sure movie poster lovers will be sitting at their computer, idly waiting for the time that it goes on sale. Now sometimes these posters are only on sale at specific locations, like the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas, or in this case at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles, California. Mondo is teaming up with the New Bev, where they will be handing out two one-of-a-kind posters for Halloween and Big Top Pee-Wee. These posters will be released on consecutive nights. On top of that Paul Reubens, director Randall Kleiser and co-star Penelope Ann Miller, will be there to hand out the posters for Pee-Wee. John Carpenter will be there to hand out the poster for Halloween. You can take a look at these very cool posters below.

| ‘The Sixth Gun’ Coming To TV Courtesy Of ‘LOST’ Showrunner Carlton Cuse |

Fans of Oni Press’s comic The Sixth Gun got some good news today when it was announced that the comic would be getting made into a TV courtesy of LOST co-showrunner Carlton Cuse. The show is being produced by Universal TV and Oni’s production company Closed on Monday Entertainment and will air on NBC (assuming the show is picked up). The Sixth Gun, written by Cullen Bunn with art by Brian Hurtt, follows the adventures of Becky Montcrief and Drake Sinclair as they travel the Wild West, searching for clues and trying to stop evil forces trying to harness the power of six pistols with supernatural powers.

| Fox Doesn’t Like ‘Chronicle 2’ Script; Looking To Replicate Original |

The month of January is usually a dumping ground for theaters. But almost everyone was blindsided with how good Max Landis‘ Chronicle was. Since the film brought in a nice amount of cash for Fox, the studio commissioned a sequel to be produced. Landis has been hard at work writing the script. But despite his efforts, it seems that Fox isn’t too happy with what he has turned in. In a recent interview, John Landis (Max’s father) gave some rather troubling news about the status of Chronicle 2.
