It used to be that every time I saw there was a new Conan release, I would hang my head and sigh deeply before laying my money down on the counter. It was a crapshoot, to say the least. But in the past few years in general, and this month in particular, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. This trade paperback, King Conan: Wolves Beyond The Border, is a prime example of masterful storytelling and sequential art working in perfect harmony.
Read on for more information as to why I loved it so much!

Archer is a glorious politically incorrect animated series on the FX network. If you knew that already, then you probably watch and love the show. Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) is a spy who works for his overbearing mother Mallory (Jessica Walter) and is joined by a cast a zany characters, most of which he is trying to sleep with. The show completed its 7th season this year, and hit San Diego Comic Con last weekend. Creator Adam Reed was there along with the entire cast was on hand including Benjamin, Walters, and Aisha Tyler (Lana), Judy Greer (Cheryl), Amber Nash (Pam), Chris Parnell (Cyril), Lucky Yates (Dr. Krieger), and more.
Here are some highlights from SDCC.

If you’ve been living under a rock since July 15th, you probably don’t know about Stranger Things, the new Netflix series that is parts Stephen King and parts early 80s sci-fi action movies. In other words, it’s perfect. In a time where everyone is divided over the RNC vs. DNC, Stranger Things did something unheard of; it got almost everyone to agree, critics and fans alike. Netflix just released this short featurette with star Winona Ryder, herself an 80s gem.

If it is December, chances are you will probably be invited to a Christmas Party to celebrate Yule Tides and Season’s Greetings. Of course, at these parties there’s bound to be some egg nog with a little alcoholic kick to it, which leads to some sort of drunken shenanigans, dumping one’s feelings over the office crush, and a nice hangover the next morning.
Now, a new comedy called Office Christmas Party will explore all those regrettable themes. The film stars Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, T.J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, Courtney B. Vance, and Olivia Munn, and since this is a movie, things get seriously out of hand.
Check out the new trailer below.

More often than not, you will find people begging to see footage from the Saturday Hall H at the San Diego Comic-Con, even more so if that footage is from Marvel Studios. Though studios are vigilant when it comes to leaked footage, by the time it is out there, it has already been viewed by the world. Some studios like FOX make the decision not to show up in order to prevent any leaks from happening. But seeing as Marvel owes a bit of gratitude for their success to SDCC, they have to show up. Now they were on hand to show us a tiny bit of footage from Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, and even make an announcement for Black Panther. But much of the audience’s excitement came from Guardians part, which showed us a bit of footage in the form of a clip and teaser trailer.
The teaser trailer will probably be released in the near future, although it may be a bit more polished and have some additional footage by that time. However, the clip of Baby Groot helping Yondu and Rocket escape from their prison cell may not appear online at all until after the actual film is released. Director James Gunn actually explained why you probably won’t see the clip any time soon. Check out the video here below.
