| Must Watch: ‘Rick and Morty’ Re-Create Real Courtroom Altercation (Video)
Big fans of the Adult Swim animated hit Rick and Morty may have already seen this, but for anyone who hasn’t seen it before it’s a hilariously vulgar way to kick off your week. The video is an animated storyboard re-creation of a very real courtroom altercation that happened in Georgia this past June. In it show co-creator Justin Roiland, who voices both title characters, reads the court transcript verbatim with Rick and Morty taking on the roles of the judge and defendant. | New Trailer For Animated Flick ‘Storks’ Released
Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer for Storks, the upcoming animated feature from Warner Animation Group, makers of The LEGO Movie. The movie is written and directed by The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted writer, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors director, and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising writer and director Nicholas Stoller. It stars Andy Samberg, Jennifer Aniston, Kelsey Grammar, Ty Burrell, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Danny Trejo, Stephen Kramer Glickman, and Katie Crown. | Making Of Featurette For Stop Motion Adventure ‘Kubo and The Two Strings’ Released
We’ve already seen a couple of impressive trailers for the wonderful looking Kubo and the Two Strings. The movie is a stop-motion animated feature from LAIKA Entertainment, makers of Coraline, ParaNorman, and The Boxtrolls. The movie stars Art Parkinson, Charlize Theron, Matthew McConaughey, Ralph Fiennes, Rooney Mara, George Takei, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Brenda Vaccaro. While trailers are exciting, it’s seeing what goes in to making these meticulous stop-motion films that’s most fascinating. Thursdays at San Diego Comic-Con International are probably the most uneventful, while also still being just a little bit special at the same time. While most people are pumped and getting situated for Saturday, DreamWorks Animation had a presentation for their upcoming film Trolls featuring the voice talents of Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick. We briefly saw what kind of a film Trolls would be in a teaser trailer. Full of comedy and top 40 songs, Trolls is based on the 90s toys that took over the pop culture world by storm, and if a hit with audiences, it will likely make a huge come back. Since Thursday is one of the lightest days of the Con, we sat down at Hall H to find out more about this movie. Check out what they had to say and a brief description of the scenes that were shown at the panel.
