For the latest installment of their “8-Bit Cinema” series, CineFix has turned the holiday classic Home Alone into an 8-bit video game.

The game version of the movie is heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda, with a bit of other games like Super Mario Bros. used for certain areas like the scary basement. Click on over to the other side now to check out the video.

YouTube user Heath Waterman has created a supercut of A Christmas Carol using 400 different versions of the story plus extras. And no, not just movies. This includes movies, TV shows, books, songs, audiobooks, and more. It runs almost an hour long and you can give it a watch below.

They’ve released a collection of videos of the fireplaces in various Marvel heroes’ homes. Each is just over an hour long, and includes Captain America‘s Brooklyn apartment, Ms. Marvel‘s New Jersey home, Thor‘s Asgard home, Iron Man‘s Manhattan apartment, and the Guardians of the Galaxy‘s spaceship and its fancy futuristic fire. There’s also a second close-up version of each of these.

Mythbusters star Adam Savage and his YouTube channel Tested are back with the third video of their visit to Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit director Peter Jackson‘s unbelievable movie prop collection, which could make any movie fan weep with envy. I know I have. Nine times.

The first part of the series focused on a Hal 9000 faceplate from Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. The second part moved on to something near and dear to the King Kong (2005) director’s heart, an armature from the original 1933 King Kong. In the third video found below, we get to see some interesting pieces that aren’t actually movie props but are tied to movies: the makeup kits of John Chambers, who worked on numerous classic titles but was also the man who helped the CIA set up the fake movie production seen in Ben Affleck’s Best Picture winner Argo. John Goodman played Chambers in the movie.
