| ‘Dope’ Director Rick Famuyiwa To Helm ‘The Flash’
It was only a matter of time before Warner Bros. found a new someone to replace Seth Grahame-Smith as director of The Flash, starring Ezra Miller. The two parted ways due to creative differences but some say it was his inexperience directing films. Handing off a blockbuster film to a first-time director would have been too risky. And now there are new reports that the studio has settled on Dope director Rick Famuyiwa to helm the film about the Scarlet Speedster of Central City. More on the story below.

| ‘Justice League’: Ben Affleck Steps Into Executive Producer Role
In addition to his central role as Batman, Ben Affleck is fast becoming one of the critical creative forces behind the camera in the DC Cinematic Universe. He reportedly performed on-set rewrites of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice script and will also be writing the future solo Batman movie (rumored to be titled The Batman) as well as directing the project. Recently, the multi-talented Affleck earned himself another hat to wear as he has taken on the role of executive producer on next year’s Justice League Part I, in which he is also obviously returning as Batman.

| Seth Grahame-Smith Out As Director Of ‘The Flash’
Fans got their first look at Ezra Miller as The Flash when he made a cameo appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film initially is setting up other Justice Leaguers for their own solo DCEU features, and with most of those films having its directors, it seemed like smooth sailing for Warner Bros. But now it looks as though The Flash feature will have to find a new director as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith is departing from the film. More on the story below.

| ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ MTV Movie Awards Trailer
A teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them debut during tonight’s MTV Movie Awards 2016, and Warner Bros. has now released it online. Watch the teaser trailer here below. The film is part of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter universe and takes place 70 years before the events of the original series. The movie stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, a magizoologist — which is someone who studies and catalogs the various magical creatures of the wizarding world — on a trip to New York. With him is a magical suitcase, which you’ll get a glimpse of in this new trailer.
