| New ‘RISK: Game of Thrones’ Board Game Coming From Hasbro
Hasbro, in collaboration with HBO and USAopoly, announced today a new variant of the board game Risk set in the fantasy world of Game of Thrones. The game will feature two maps — one of Westeros and one of Essos — and allow players to take control of the powerful noble houses, such as the Baratheon and Lannister. | HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’ Will Spoil The Ending Of The Books
If you’re a fan of Game Of Thrones and the novels by George R.R. Martin on which it is based, then you already know that the HBO series does at times deviate from the Song Of Ice and Fire books. Recently, Martin, who is also an executive producer and writer on the television series, revealed that characters will die in Season 5 who are still alive in his books — books which we know take him a long time to write. With the TV show beginning its fifth season next month, it’s been obvious for a while now that it would eventually surpass the books, and now we have official confirmation. Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss confirmed at a recent panel discussion at the Oxford Union that the television series will conclude before Martin’s final books are published.

HBO programming president Michael Lombardo and showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have spoken on when the end of the show might come, and also on whether or not they would consider concluding the show with a last hurrah on the big screen instead of on HBO. See what they had to say below.
