| ‘Batman v Superman’: Dawn Of Justice’ Character Posters: Choose Your Side
Last week, Warner Bros. launched a major marketing campaign for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Director Zack Snyder had announced that a 15-minute IMAX event will be held in theaters across the nation in conjunction with the release of the film’s first trailer. While the trailer leak was unexpected, the studio continues to move forward with their plans to show 15 minutes of footage. In anticipation for this, we are getting two new, I guess you would call them, character posters. Only thing is, each poster has been defaced with the markings of the other title heroe. So if you see a Batman poster, you’ll see that it has been defaced with the Superman emblem, and vice-versa. And to get these posters, you’ll have to attend the event tonight. Hit the jump to check them out.

| Warner Bros. Wants James Wan To Direct ‘Aquaman’
Last year, WB announced their massive DC film slate. This was a very early look at what the studio would be releasing, as no directors were attached to any of the films. So far Michelle MacLaren has been confirmed to write and direct Wonder Woman. Chris Miller and Phil Lord have just been confirmed to write The Flash, with talks of making an offer to direct as well. But as to who will be directing Green Lantern and Shazam, that is unknown. Now we may have an idea as to who will be directing Aquaman. Unconfirmed reports are suggesting that WB is eying James Wan as a possibility to direct Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa (check out a first look at the actor in costume here). Hit the jump for more.

| Zack Snyder Teases ‘Justice League’ With Jason Momoa’s Aquaman (Photo)
Zack Snyder posted an image to his Twitter account on Thursday night of Jason Momoa as Aquaman in what looks like a tease for the Justice League films. The image appears to be concept art showing a photo of Momoa in Aquaman armor holding a trident, with the words “Unite The Seven” written over the image. With the picture, Snyder wrote, “There is only one true King. #unitetheseven”. Check out the image and Twitter post here below.

| Jason Momoa Signs Four-Picture Deal To Play Aquaman; Wants Zack Snyder To Direct Solo Movie
Production for Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice wrapped last Friday, leaving us about a year and a few months of waiting to see what Warner Bros has planned for us for their DC universe. We sort of got an idea when the studio released the official DC slate, that included many iconic heroes, one of which is Aquaman. Jason Momoa will play the king of Atlantis, and founding member of the Justice League, which is probably why he has a cameo role in the upcoming film. Now a majority of these large cinema arcs is that the actors who play these characters sign major deals that lock them in four a number of films. This is no different for Momoa, who has reportedly signed on for four films. He also expressed interest in having Zack Snyder as director of the Aquaman solo movie. Hit the jump for more.

| Warner Bros. Looking At Dueling Aquaman Scripts
Hot off the heels of announcing that Warner Bros. would be releasing up to nine DC Comic films between 2016 and 2020, comes word that there will be an Aquaman film. But that isn’t even the craziest thing – unless you’ve heard Zack Snyder recently defend the honor of the King of Atlantis, who will appear in his Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film for DC. Reports are coming in that WB has commissioned two scripts for an Aquaman film, but they won’t be for two different films. The studio is aggressively working on getting Aquaman on the big screen for a solo film, so they have hired Will Beall (Gangster Squad) and Kurt Johnstad (300: Rise of an Empire) to write two separate scripts, with the hope that one of them will be primed and ready for filming.
