| ‘Hustlers’ Trailer: Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, and More Pull A Con Job On Wall Street
Everybody hustling. Including Constance Wu, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B who all star in a new film which is called Hustlers. They star as a group of former strip club employees who decide to band together and come up with a plan to take back from the Wall Street types they often had to deal with at work. Now STX has released the first trailer for the female ensemble film, which will see them take the power back, especially from those who don’t play by the rules. Check out the trailer below.

| ‘Shrek Forever After’ Writer To Pen ‘Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?’ MovieThere is indeed a movie based on the popular computer game Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? on the way. The game saw players using clues to travel the globe trying to find various wanted criminals, while ultimately after the ultra-elusive Carmen Sandiego herself. The project has hired writer Darren Lemke to come in and script the movie, which was acquired by Walden Media from Houghton Mifflin last fall. Lemke has previously worked on Shrek Forever After, as well as Bryan Singer’s upcoming Jack and the Beanstalk retelling, Jack the Giant Killer. | Come Again? Jennifer Lopez Thinks She Deserved Oscar Nomination For ‘El Cantante’
While this is not really news, it is without doubt a wholly amusing story to read. And considering it’s the weekend and slow enough on the web, why not read a quote that’ll make you chuckle, aye? Jennifer Lopez, star of Selena, Maid in Manhattan, and Gigli, felt that her role in El Cantante should have at least nabbed her an Academy Award nomination, if not an actual win. El Cantante of course is the 2006 film in which she starred opposite of her husband Marc Antony. The movie is through the perspective of his wife Puchi (Lopez) and tells the story of Héctor Lavoe (Antony) and his arrival in America from Puerto Rico in the ’60s before rising to become one of the great Salsa singers of our time. It’s very much like Scarface, but with Salsa melodies instead of blow — though that all came with the fame as well.
