Back in 2014, Jake Gyllenhaal and Dan Gilroy teamed up for the dark news-chasing thriller Nightcrawler. The Academy Award nominated actor provided one of the best performances of his career in Gilroy’s directorial debut. Now they have reunited for Velvet Buzzsaw, a satirical film that takes on the world of contemporary art, and joining them is their Nightcrawler co-star Rene Russo. Netflix has released the first trailer for Bird Box from director Susanne Bier (The Night Manager), an apocalyptic thriller starring Sandra Bullock. In the film, the world is coming to an end. But there are no zombies. No apes. Not even a flu. But there are aliens. Just not the kind you’d expect to see. This time, these aliens manifest themselves into the onlooker’s greatest fear. And it gets to a point when the person kills themselves. So the only way to survive is to have blindfolds on so you don’t see them. The first image has been released of Metallica frontman James Hetfield as Officer Bob Hayward on the set of Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, the upcoming Ted Bundy biopic starring Zac Efron as the infamous serial killer. The movie follows the story of Bundy and the horrific acts he committed from the perspective of his longtime girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer (played by Lily Collins), who lived in denial of who he really was for many years. | ‘Deepwater Horizon’: First Trailer For Oil Spill Disaster Movie Starring Mark Wahlberg
A teaser trailer has been released for Deepwater Horizon, a movie about the BP oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. Back in 2010 a blowout, a massive and uncontrollable release of crude oil, occurred on the rig named Deepwater Horizon, which led to a devastating explosion that ignited a fireball that could be seen from 40 miles away, the eventual sinking of the rig, and the loss of eleven lives. After the explosion oil gushed from the earth at a catastrophic rate, creating one of the biggest man-made disasters of all time. You can watch the first teaser trailer for the movie below.
