SDCC 2017 Thor Ragnarok image 06

At SDCC 2017 Saturday, after dropping a few nuggets of news for Ant-Man And The Wasp and Captain Marvel, Director Taika Waititi, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchette, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, and, Rachel House all walked out to talk about Thor: Ragnarok. If House’s name sounds a bit unfamiliar, she’s a bit of a last minute announcement, if you haven’t seen Waititi’s, The Hunt For Wilderpeople. But if you have, then the casting makes a lot of sense as she has appeared in four of Watiti’s films.

Check out what else they had to say at San Diego Comic-Con and the new trailer below.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Rankings

Not all Marvel Cinematic Universe films are built the same, but they are all pieces of a larger puzzle. Each one of them serves some sort of purpose to tell its own story while also moving the universe towards a certain direction. So with each and every new installment comes new praises and criticisms.

While it is easy to say that every new Marvel Studios film is better than the last, the truth is, they are not. Some are better than others. With Spider-Man: Homecoming hitting theaters this weekend, I decided to rank all 16 MCU films that have been released, from worst to the best.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Header

This weekend, all eyes will be on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Not only is the film Spidey’s first standalone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it is also the second reboot in 15 years. Now that he’s allowed to play in the Marvel sandbox it will be interesting to see what kinds of adventures the Webslinger will go on.

While it’s still too early to tell that, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gives us an idea of what to expect and what kind of plans he has in store for the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Find out what they are in the full story below.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Michael Giacchino is, without a doubt in my mind, one of the best composers for film and television working today. Last year alone saw him apply his inventive musical chops to the popular blockbuster hits Doctor Strange and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Well the man is back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe this summer as he is providing the score for the much-anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming. As a little treat to close out this unadulterated whirlwind of a week on the planet Earth, Giacchino has released a brief snippet from his Homecoming soundtrack, which he recently completed. Longtime fans of Marvel Comics’ friendly neighborhood superhero will very likely recognize this upbeat number.

Check it out below.

Thor: Ragnarok header

A lot has gone on since we last saw Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Towards the end of Doctor Strange, it was revealed that he was seeking help from the Sorcerer Supreme to find his father.

How all of this happened is unclear, but we do know Loki had something to do with it. And now more is being revealed about the film’s plot, plus some of the other films that have inspired Thor: Ragnarok, including Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. More below.
