| Will ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ Re-Cast Cullen Kids Ashley Greene & Kellan Lutz? |

When it comes to the sequels in a juggernaut franchise, it’s only a matter of time before money becomes the main focus of the talent involved, and complications develop. And so it begins. As you all know, Summit Entertainment wants to split the final movie in their series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, into two parts so that they can cover more of the story and of course, so that they can add a few hundred-million dollars more to their bank account. But why has this two-part movie always been “hoped” for and not an official decision? Money, naturally. When Twilight was first being made it had a big following behind the books, but the movie didn’t have a massive budget and its stars, who were signed on for a possible three films if the first did well, did not get paid a lot of money. The movie went on to pull in insane box office numbers, instantly creating a worldwide phenomenon and solidifying the birth of a franchise instead of just one film. This also lead Summit to smartly re-enter into negotiations with their stars to lock them up for a last movie based on the fourth book from author Stephenie Meyer.

| Summer Movie Mayhem 2010 |

Summer you say? Already? We thought it was like February still…no? Yes indeed, that joyous time of year when movie fans can put their brains away to hibernate for a few months (for the most part), and bask in the glory that is the summer movie season. It’s time to re-open the cinematic buffet and, as always, this year will deliver all of the bangs and booms, the violence and sex, and the shocks and laughs that you the moviegoers crave when the sun is at its hottest. This year is a little different than we’ve been used to — almost like a year off in terms of true spectacle. There’s more than your fair share of big names and sequels being released, but unlike last year and even next year, the summer won’t be dominated by them. Instead, there’s plenty of remakes, adaptations, and a mixture of all genres from the traditional action-packed firework festivals and comedies to less-traditional fare such as historical epics, science fiction horrors, cult classics-in-the-making, and psychological mind-benders. Allow me not to waste anymore of your time. Grab the biggest, buttery bucket of popcorn and as many liter-o-colas as you can carry, then leap on over to the other side for your biggest and best guide to upcoming movies in our very own Summer Movie Mayhem 2010!

| New Poster For ‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ + Video Sneak Peek |
With Twilight Saga: Eclipse coming out in theaters in only a few months, we’ve seen very little from the upcoming Twilight sequel.
Now, we have finally two new juicy items from the film: a new poster and a 7-minute sneak peek video. First up, the full theatrical poster for Twilight Saga: Eclipse featuring everybody’s favorite human-supernatural love triangle — Edward, Bella, and Jacob. Check out the poster here at right and click for the larger full view. The previously released teaser poster gave us no hint as to the look of Eclipse, but with this new poster we can see that Bella (Kirsten Stewart) is now in the forefront with her paramours (Robert Pattinson as Edward and Taylor Lautner as Jacob) behind her. Gone are the brown tones from New Moon which were meant to signify the introduction of the werewolves. As the tagline says, Bella has a choice (actually, several choices) to make and the poster shows that it’s hers and hers alone. Next up, a 7-minute sneak peek video of the new film that was included in select DVD/Blu-ray editions of Twilight Saga: New Moon, which was released last weekend. Watch the entire video here below and get ready to see plenty of action, including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, the werewolves, and the Volturi, as well as several new characters. The last two minutes of the video is actually a scene from Eclipse of Bella and Edward talking about the choice Bella is about to make.
