A trailer has been released for an upcoming movie from New Line titled Into the Storm. The movie is made using your basic disaster flick recipe, with mother nature wreaking some devastating havoc. | SDCC 2012: AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Panel With Season 3 Trailer |
 |

AMC’s The Walking Dead presence here on Day 2 of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con kicked off with moderator Chris Hardwick (The Talking Dead) introducing the panel, including executive producers Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, Gayle Anne Hurd, and showrunner Glen Mazzara, and debuting the trailer for the upcoming Season 3 (which you can watch here below). Kirkman, who created the comic book series that the TV show is based on, said viewers can look forward to a fully stage-built yet realistic prison set. Alpert said that the series has exceeded the vision he had in his head from the comic book. Hardwick mentioned that naysayers who complained about lack of zombies early in season two, certainly had nothing to complain about by season’s end. Nicotero said he’s striving to create more realistic decomposed and hungry zombies moving forward in The Walking Dead‘s timeline. He wants to keep the audience guessing with what effects they’re going to unleash. He’s recently directed his first episode and felt it rewarding to him to finally connect with the actors.

For Season 2, Episode 1: What Lies Ahead, I’ve compiled a running commentary here, complete with approximate minute marks for reference. Before you proceed, I must say that there are SPOILERS ahead, so if you haven’t seen this episode yet (SHAME!), go watch it now! Right now. I’ll wait. Ok no, I won’t, so here goes…

| AMC Announces 90–Minute Season 2 Premiere Of ‘The Walking Dead’
On Sunday, October 16 at 10pm, the highly anticipated second season of The Walking Dead will premiere on AMC. To add to the excitement fans have for the 13–episode second season, AMC has also announced that the premiere episode will run 90 minutes in length, much like the pilot episode did last Halloween when the show first began. Now the only question that remains””after showrunner Frank Darabont was supposedly fired, for which AMC has faced a ton of backlash””is if the same large following will continue to watch the show, or if some fans will have shunned it.
