“I actually spent the day shadowing an Oregonian [journalist], just to show you how important the daily planet is to the stories we’ll be telling,” Bendis told Geeks Of Doom in response to a question about how the current climate of “fake news” and misinformation currently plaguing society might impact the storytelling. “On top of that, Journalism [is] under siege in my lifetime like it’s never been before.”

Superman Donut wall

One huge benefit of reuniting Superman with his iconic red trunks is the amount of attention it creates, which is very useful for DC Comics as it embarks on a brand new era for the Man of Steel. Man of Steel

Three years after it launched DC Comics’ cinematic universe with a $668 million global box office gross, the Zack Snyder-directed Superman reboot Man of Steel is finally getting a standalone sequel, as an unnamed source familiar with the developing film at Warner Bros. told Umberto Gonzalez at The Wrap.

Time for a family picture! The CW has released a first image of Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and her cousin Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) in their full red and blues. Clark Kent had been mentioned on the show in Season 1, by… pretty much everybody. Plus, BFF James Olsen (Mechad Brooks) left one Kryptonian for a prettier one. And Kara has been chatting with him online. He made a brief shadow of an appearance in the “Myriad” episode… saving Kara from Reactron then whooshing away.

Check out The CW’s tweet with pic here below.
