| Golden Globe Nominees Revealed; What Do You Think? |
 |

The list of nominees for the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards were announced earlier today, and you can check out the whole list below. The Globes aren’t the most respected of all awards ceremonies (not that many…if ANY are these days), but they are good for one important thing: Academy Awards potentials. Many of the nominees and winners of Golden Globes will go on to land Oscar nominations as well, so movie fans watch with sharp eyes. Just a glance over the list of nominees, you can see why so many people have trouble taking awards like this seriously. There’s a select group of movies that feel like they’re given these nods just because of their status and not due to their quality. These movies could in fact be the very best of the best this year — I do not know for sure — but when you see films like Nine which hasn’t even been released yet getting so many nominations, you scratch your head, especially knowing how much love musicals get JUST for being musicals. Or maybe even Avatar grabbing a massively unexpected nod in the Best Motion Picture Dramas category. Hopefully the majority of these are indeed the most deserving of the honor, and may the best films win. Head on over to the other side to see the entire rundown of Golden Globe nominees and please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below!

| First Official Image Of The New ‘A-Team’ Together |
 |

A short time ago, someone was able to snap a photo of the cast of Joe Carnahan‘s (Smokin’ Aces) new TV show adaptation, The A-Team while on the set (Read: Super Geek Peek: New Images From “˜Green Hornet,’ “˜A-Team’ & More!). The image was decent, but it was far away and it looked like they were on break, so it was hard to go nutty over. Now the very first official image of the group together has been released, and you get a really strong idea of how the characters will look and how they’ve modernized some small things. In the image is Bradley Cooper (The Hangover, Wedding Crashers) as Face; former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as B.A. Baracus; Liam Neeson (Kingdom of Heaven, Taken) as Hannibal; and Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Murdoch. Click on over to the other side to check out the brand new first image of the gang together, and for comparison’s sake, I’ve included a lovely little photo of the original cast above, so feel free to click and compare away.

| Super Geek Peek: New Images From ‘Green Hornet,’ ‘A-Team’ & More!
A party bag of new images from some big time new movies have been released all over the ‘net today. The images are basically just some sneaky behind the scenes shots of filming, but they’re our very first look at these movies, which makes them pretty exciting. There’s also a new image of Sam Worthington from Louis Leterrier‘s Clash of the Titans from Empire, which you can see at right! The first movie we’re getting our first good look at is The Green Hornet. Splash News has a collection of pictures from filming, and they show writer/producer/star Seth Rogen as the Hornet himself, along with sidekick Kato, played by Jay Chou. As you can tell, they’re being pretty faithful to the look of the characters, so fans should be pretty excited. Click on over to check out these cool first peeks, and head to source sites for more!

| Must See Trailer: ‘The Hangover’ |
 |

The trailer for Todd Phillips‘ (Old School, Road Trip) The Hangover isn’t really new to the world; a couple of weeks back the first trailer debuted, and then a second trailer showed up not too long after that. Since the trailer was released, people have been raving about how funny the movie looks. Unfortunately, for some reason, I never got around to watching the thing, even while completely aware of the praise it was getting. But even though late, just in case everyone hasn’t seen it yet, the trailer is here now to enjoy. The Hangover follows a formula we’ve seen before: a group of friends go off to Vegas for a big bachelor party bash. When they wake up the next day, everything is so incredibly messed up, they need to retrace their steps and figure out what happened. It looks a lot like a much more well-done, much less stupid version of Dude, Where’s My Car. The movie stars Bradley Cooper (Wedding Crashers), Zach Galifianakis (Out Cold), Justin Bartha (National Treasure), Ed Helms (The Office), Heather Graham (Boogie Nights), Ken Jeong (Role Models), and Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development). Click over to check this thing out. I assure you, you won’t regret it. The very end of this trailer had me in damn tears…twice!
