| ‘The Tick’: First Look At Peter Serafinowicz In Amazon’s Live-Action Reboot Pilot
In March, it was announced that Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television were developing a pilot for a live-action series based on Ben Edlund‘s superhero spoof comic book The Tick, with Edlund scripting and serving as an executive producer and British comedic genius Peter Serafinowicz (Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy) cast in the title role. The pilot was directed by Wally Pfister, the cinematographer on all three of Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies, Inception, and Moneyball. Recently Amazon released both the premiere date for the pilot and a small set of images, including our first look at Serafinowicz is full Tick attire. You can check out the pictures here below.

| Disney In Depth: People Deserving To Be Disney Legends
More than 200 individuals have been awarded the highest honor from The Walt Disney Company. Disney Legends are people whose contributions to the corporation extend from music and animation, to design and acting. The group only inducts a handful of folks every couple of years now. In light of the most recent collection of inductees, such as composer Danny Elfman, soap star Susan Lucci, and artist Andreas Deja, I started to ponder who should be the next set of honorees. Here are six people who deserve to be named Disney Legends.

Star Trek: The Next Generation
Season 3 – Blu-ray
Starring Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, LeVar Burton, Gates McFadden, Wil Wheaton, Colm Meaney, Whoopi Goldberg
Paramount Home Entertainment
Release Date: April 30, 2013 Paramount is slowly but surely remastering and enhancing each season of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and now sees the release of the Blu-ray for Season 3, which was the season when the series really took off. When TNG started coming out on DVD, Season 3 was the first box set I purchased, because while I’m a great fan of TNG, I’ve had difficulty sitting through some of those early episodes where the show was still finding its footing in the late 1980s (although, the pilot was awesome). Back in those days, people were used to one Star Trek and one Star Trek only. Kirk, Spock, Scotty, Sulu, Uhura, Chekov – those were the characters who entered people’s living rooms each week and these are who viewers wanted to see. TNG was initially met with resistance, especially since it had a new Captain commanding a new Enterprise in the future.

Release date: October 4, 2011 You can’t really review The Lion King. It’s one of the crown jewels of Disney’s line of timeless hand–drawn animated classics, and my own personal favorite of the bunch. It’s jam–packed with a great cast of voice actors, gorgeous and vibrant environments, settings, and colors, and some of the most unforgettable songs any movie has ever had. Not to mention the wonderful story of a young lion cub who’s tricked into leaving the lands he was to one day become king of after an incident involving his stoic father–king and his deviously evil uncle.
