| Disney In Depth: 12 Reasons To Visit The Walt Disney Family Museum
“To all who come to this happy place, welcome,” Walt Disney announced on July 17, 1955, Disneyland’s opening day. Perhaps if The Walt Disney Family Museum, celebrating its fourth year in San Francisco’s Presidio, should have an associated quote, it should be, “to all who come to this happy place, (you’re) welcome.” This place is truly dedicated to Walt’s admirers. The museum that honors the man responsible for Mickey Mouse and countless other creations embodies a “must-see” attraction for any true Disney enthusiast. Recently I had the privilege of visiting The Walt Disney Family Museum, though even an entire day did not warrant enough time to explore each fascinating facet. Check out 12 reasons to visit The Walt Disney Family Museum in this video I developed after my visit.

Since her breakthrough in the 1970s with all-girl hard rockers The Runaways, Lita Ford has become one of the world’s foremost guitar-wielding goddesses. Twice. She managed to come back from a 13-year music hiatus to fight her way back to the top of her game and is still releasing punchy hard rock albums that leave many of her (few) peers in the shadows to prove she is still the first lady of rock. Last year, Ford released a new solo album, Living Like a Runaway, and this week saw the release of the live album from its tour, The Bitch Is Back…Live. As well as cranking out albums full of hard rock, Ford has set up a Facebook page dedicated to raising awareness of Parental Alienation, of which she is currently a victim after her divorce from singer Jim Gillette. Lita Ford is one of America’s greatest living rock stars, but her story did not start in the U.S. We got a chance to talk to her recently about her upbringing, music, touring, and what’s to come for the tattooed queen of rock.

Romantic comedies: love them or hate them, they are usually quite predictable. Just for fun, I thought I would add a little bit of action into the mix and make these films a lot better. This isn’t the RoboCop you remember. Paul Verhoeven’s film was a mix of over-the-top violence and a satire of the American culture, and while some may be hesitant about José Padilha‘s vision of the film, a new trailer for the remake could change your mind. The new trailer for the film has premiered online, and it looks to smooth over some of the lingering rough edges that were left behind by the first trailer, which was more concerned about the violence than paying homage to the original. Watch the new trailer here below.

Some heroes aren’t made for the big screen. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Look at how well Arrow is doing, and let’s not forget that ABC’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. has finally found its stride. Now Marvel looks to bring four more lesser-known heroes to life, one of which had a short cinematic life-expectancy, to the small screen. But it won’t be through broadcast or cable TV; instead, they are teaming up with NetFlix. A new deal that was just announced today will launch series for Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones. Each hero will receive a respective 13-episode order, which will all culminate to a miniseries featuring the heroes teaming up to form the Hell’s Kitchen super group, The Defenders. Basically, it’s the NetFlix version of The Avengers.
