PlayStation TV’s first original series, Powers, launches on March 10, and as we get closer to the premiere date, Sony has given us a look behind the scenes of the show. “An Inside Look at Powers: A PlayStation Original Series” runs over seven minutes long, and gives a lot of good background on the series that should get you pumped to watch. Powers is based on the comics series by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, and stars Sharlto Copley (District 9, Chappie) as Detective Christian Walker, a homicide detective who specializes in cases that deal with people with super powers. He is teamed up with a new partner named Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward — The Following, Poltergeist). The series also stars Eddie Izzard (The Riches, Hannibal), Michelle Forbes (Battlestar Galactica, True Blood), Noah Taylor (Almost Famous, Game of Thrones), Olesya Rulin (High School Musical, Greek), and Logan Browning (Bratz, Meet the Browns). You can watch “An Inside Look at Powers” below and then watch the first episode when it starts on March 10, 2015 and is available exclusively on the PlayStation Network to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
